The wind sweeps the leaves from their home;
Chilling the air and silencing heat.
This is the season of passing
Solstice of winter sleep.

Though the cold wards many,
I do not own such luxury.
My mind sits restless,
focusing on carrying my weary feet...

This weather invades my heart,
as it is shrouded over me,
by stingy fridged lips
sapping the strength from every beat.

So as my joints stiffen,
As my lungs freeze,
My resolve dissipates
fading into the darkness that kisses my heels.

I must keep moving...
"till I hear the death bell's ring
or I reach my randevu.

I swear,
To be anything more then a continuation from this peer I've newly appeared from
I swear,
When the weather is cold and my heart can not seem to bear I'll no longer have a clear care here
I swear,
To God in my prayers that one day I shall resist the temps that be out there
I swear,
Everyone looks because the profundity calls in for all the curses
I swear,
Switching ears wont help you hear the outcomes of others pain in fear
I swear,
On a grave that life is tempting me but the grass hasn't grown there
I swear,
When I lose it all I'm going to make sure you go down a tear
I swear,
To be buried alive for decades with you and holding onto to last thing we shared, air

And just like that,
the warm summer nights begin.

The desert's short-lived Spring
mostly undeniable in the cooled evenings.

The palm fronds swaying in a cowardly breeze,
the ruffling of bird feathers, housed in their pine nests.

All to be replaced by the chirping of the crickets,
the shrieking of the cicadas, and the yelling

of cats in heat
of quarreling couples nearing their ends
of babies too feverish to sleep
of lovers exorcising their souls through open windows

for all of the night to hear.

No-one knows how fragile you are until you dance in the rain.

The rain pounding outside my window
The gods’ righteous anger manifested
Lightning and thunder, their weapons
And I, the victim bested

If I run naked into the storm,
and let the torrent strip me bare,
will the neighbors think I’ve gone mad?
Or will they even care?

Thunderstorms and grim sky
Trickling water, witch's high
Patch  my heart up, like a lullaby.
Wrote this during a thunderstorm, and idk why, but thunderstorms and rainy nights are so comfy and soothing.

The wind howled against the glass
Threatening to break it down
Mighty sky covered the clouds
In color grey, black and brown
Gush of wind blows out the candle
While darkness consumes it all
A thunder cracks through the sky
As if to answer darkness’s call
All the trees bow down to the wind
Maybe asking for mercy or kindness
The fallen leaves fly in the sky
Perhaps to win an invincible race.
The heavy rain drenched it all
Drowning everything pure and good
Looking at the weather I was sure
It was a perfect representation of my mood

The wind tapped at the glass
To inform it’s arrival
Mighty skies growled to let me know
That the future wasn’t my rival
Gush of wind blows out the candle
Maybe to tell me to take a break
A thunder shows me a glimpse of outside
The future, which is mine to take
The trees danced in sync with the wind
Happy again to be fresh and green
Or maybe they were simply thankful
As now the streets were sparkly clean
The heavy rain drenched it all
To wash away everything sad
Looking at the weather I was sure
That in this reality I am glad
This shows how the representation of a particular situation can completely differ based on two different types of minds even if they’re witnessing the same circumstances

I don't really understand why
I fell in love with you in the first place
You were not the most beautiful creature
nor the brightest on our dearly Earth

But we've known each other for four years
yet barely even talked before because
I thought I might bother you and
you seemed a bit aloof and cold

Your eyes, they shone so bright
as I talked about my life and then yours
and we talked and we talked
until there's nothing left to talk about

Eights months have gone by and we
missed Winter and Spring and
it'll be Summer in a meantime
and you seem to forget me at all

I don't mind if we never
talked to each other anymore
because I know nothing lasts forever
even the seasons change so quickly

I just can't help it if I begin
to lose you all over again because
I realize you were never mine
and I was never yours

Rain graces my hair
small droplets from the air

life to the world
released when clouds have swirled

we may find asylum once again
in the clouds that block

the sun from all that's been
keeping misery's stock

we may all find change
in this world so strange

perhaps for the better
or merely an unwanted letter
It's been raining a lot recently! (yay!) and lots of people from my past have been reaching out to me.

Also I've been chilling in the rain a lot lately
(I'm sad that it has to end soon :( )

Rain drops fall down
Bathing my skin
And covering the town
Quenching a thirsty earth
As the rain gives birth
To new life
And lulling me to sleep
As the drops pitter patter on my roof
Drowning out the nightmares
As my soul it soothes
I’ve begun to believe
Rain can heal most anything
For when I’ve had a bad day
And I say, “I’m done, I quit”
The rain washes down my face as if to say
“Just breathe, that’s it!”
The rain makes me shiver
Because it makes me wet and cold
But kissing in the rain brings other shivers entirely
But that’s a story I’ll leave untold
What do you love about the rain?
