She is ice
And he is fire

She is an angel
And him a devil

She's often seen sitting
On a park bench
Dressed immaculately; rich
With her nose  stuck  in a book

Whereas he's often seen lounging
At a squalid pub
With a drink in hand
Smoke curling from his smirking lips

Both polar opposites,
Ying and yang.
Yet when  together
They become one

Her Fire can thaw  his ice
And his water  tames her *fire
Not one of my best but I hope you guys like it

When put to words
They do not feel the same.
When said out loud,
Come across as burned out flames-
They seem as somewhat distorted,
Not what You see inside,
Rather concealed and tamed,
The intensity not quite portrayed,
On the equivalent high tide.

I've gone two ways.
Not left nor right.
Split me down the middle.
I'm due pride, I'm due light.

You've cut me in ways.
The night with its tallons and teeth couldn't rip clean.
You've gutted me worse than WWII infantry on the beach.
I've been here before. It's a steep road to slaughter.
Gore immune, take me to the seven hells.
You've put me through butchery, what worse could you do?
Take me back this curse you'd undo.
With it comes demon come Craine.
This heart, trust and love.
Forever to tame.

Let me make you wonder why
You'd scream any other name.

Let me prove to you that
There's no fun in being tame.
What an entertaining game.

Sometimes one has to face the Chimera
Attacked from all sides with lethal intensity
Fighting an imaginary demon, a solitary war
Either, one will emerge a winner, or demonized
Tame the Chimera, before it annihilates
Here 'Chimera' is used as 'metaphor'. Chimera, according to Greek Mythology is a monstrous fire-breathing creature composed of the parts  of multiple animals.
