Superman on kryptonite,
Why because it makes me feel alright,
Like rocky Balboa going into a fight,
As a try to save the world I die,
No obvious signs I'm hurt alone I cry,
I fight to survive but don't care if I die,
If in the end no one cares why even try.
It's a new day today,
For the first time I feel better than okay,
An uphill battle still lies ahead,
Yet im smiling thanking god that I'm not dead,
Round 15 I'm still standing with a chance to win,
Anything is possible if you're willing to go the distance
Life hasn't been easy and Id all but given up which was freeing in a way because I wasn't afraid of death. I never gave up though thanks to a couple people who never stopped loving me and now I feel like anything is possible

{Set I: Brandon}
I want to glide underneath the Sun
You know, it's hard sometimes
I want to guide others like I would a son
That's what I love to fantasize
For my enemies, I wouldn't dare a wish on them
Just **** them with kindness and cut their stem

{Set II: Brandon}
"I'd die for you" is easy to say
Everybody makes a list they'd take
Bullets are here and bullets jump there
I'd jump in front of everybody
But I don't seem to see bodies jumping for me
They'll abuse the phrase to conjure false smiles
I can document every situation in my files
People loosely say that they'd live for you
But they fail to realize how hard it is to do
How do you tell them when you know it's not true?
While listening to 'Ride' by 21 Pilots I just sort of thinking about the phrase "I'd die for you". People say it all the time, but do they truly mean it? Personally, I don't know. Enjoy!

Just like the Mxyzptlk can be killed,
I can solve all of my problems too.

By making it say its name backwards,
Nemesis of the Superman is killed.

Reverse engineering all problems,
All my problems can be solved.

Instead of a red cape is a plain T-shirt and shorts,
Accompanied by a smile that can make a heart fly;
Beneath all this is my superman.
He may not be unbeatable in all sports,
But he doesn't even have to try.
Because no matter what, I'm still his biggest fan.

Laser eyes and X-ray vision,
Or even eyes that could see the future;
These are nothing, compared to his eyes.
Just staring at them gives me satisfaction
Than staring at any other picture.
Because in his eyes, I can see that love lies.

His hands aren't bullet-proof;
They can't stop a crashing plane,
Nor can they bend gold.
But my reasons are way over the roof,
That even through a hurricane,
It's still his hands I want to hold.

Super strength or super speed,
The ability to fly or to travel through time;
All of these, he has none.
But there really is no need;
I'd still write him poems that rhyme
Because his power on me, will never be gone.

So who cares if he really isn't a superhero?
Kryptonian or not,
Still, on Earth he was sent;
Not to be everyone's superman,
But to be my one and only hero.
He's the best weapon I've got.
Lois Lane may have her own Clark Kent,
But I have my own superman.

Okay friends, Hats off to Mr. Trump the man of Steel
He's a great big fish, Americans caught on a Reel

He's made a big promise and he's made a huge Deal
He's giving us the facts, and he's keeping it Real

He's got his act together and he's laying down the Law
He's fighting bad guys, and building a great, big Wall

SO Just sit back, and don't worry about a thing My Friend
Coz the man of steel's, gonna make America great Again

Superman,
where are you now?

I need a friend
on who I can depend,

so rescue me tonight
& bring a little loving light
help me with this troubled fight,

It's not a joke
you know we spoke,
we are never doomed
when danger loomed,
a love it bloomed,

I know that you care,
I truly do

no matter where I roam,
I never really feel alone,
I'm only one flight away,
this time I hope you come & stay
please come & save the day
with hands,
I pray,

come hold me in your rugged arms,
keep us safe from all the harms,

I could love you,
& you know it too,
still don't know what to do?

Just come & fly to me,
this could be a destiny,
one that could set us free,
if you don't, a mystery,

Superman you gotta a cape,
hurry now I'm in a scrape
you got my number,

My sweet boy wonder,
I hear that coming thunder,
I know it's
not a blunder,

I promise,

Superman
will you be my
Superhero?

Superheroes inspire us all,
superheroes make us marvel.
Superheroes are adored
from Beijing to Washington D.C.

But superheroes don't wear capes,
they wear a '96 Olympic shirt
and loose-fitting pants
you would never catch me in.

They don't have x-ray vision,
they've worn glasses
for as long as you remember.
They cannot fly,
and yet they seem larger than life.

They never seem to lie,
and they still say "I love you"
in the exact same way
almost sixty years after they bound it to eternity.

They don't have super-strength,
but they are your super strength
and they lift you up
until you can do it on your own.

They seem invincible,
but life has a way of reminding you
that even Superman has Kryptonite.

They are stubbornly steady
even when the bill of health
isn't clean.
Just as they are your strength,
you feel your aching mortality
when you find out
even superheroes get cancer.

Yet somehow,
after their greatest battle is fought,
there they are in all that remains
spreading an unyielding light
upon whoever sees them soaring by.

We wear an "S", a bat,
or even a spider
to pretend that we are our heroes
and emulate their image;
but I won't wear that old shirt,
or those terrible, worn-in jeans.
Instead,
I'll harness that unbreakable spirit,
and maybe one day
I'll be a superhero too.
I love you Papa.
