I finally had the courage to reveal my truth
Loosening its two-year-long choke
And when I finally told it to a friend
She laughed at my "hilarious joke".
this is my 89th poem, written on 4/9/24

"There's a time and a place" the gravedigger said,
"For humour, and this isn't it."
But the thought process currently stuck in my head
Is: "Maybe it is. Just a bit."

The businessmen said, in no uncertain tones,
That my silliness simply won't do,
And quickly went back to their laptops and phones,
But I still think the opposite's true.

There's no harm at all in increasing the stock
Of the cheerfulness in this cruel world,
And, often, my humour has been like a rock
While the pain inside me has unfurled.

I cannot explain why, when I start to cry,
That, sometimes, I laugh while I do.
In the depths of despair, where men want to die:
I can see the ridiculousness too.

So if I should be sad, and you see me laugh,
Just know I'm still dying inside,
And that I simply have to follow this path,
Or tears will flow out in a tide.
"I feel an earnest and humble desire, and shall do till I die, to increase the stock of harmless cheerfulness." – Charles Dickens

No matter the weather I depend on you forever, always with you making bank together.
I wish not to see you go, but I'm here to let you know that, no business too strong, no sale too low, I’ll talk the talk and win boardwalk.
You may raise the steaks, eat 'em with a shake, but I'll be the one to monopolize park place.

Every day, we continue to strive, simply because we are alive with a passion of conquest that will put any limit to the test.
Don’t tell us your rules, you fool, we pull the strings, so watch what you say, or everything you know of will go missing.
Beware, our empire expands at a rate, which will never yield any capitalist mistakes, because at our core, we are omnipotent nationalists.
We have climbed the steps, to the very top of the throne, and mark my words — the world will be ours to own.
Sometimes, it is fun to write poetry just for fun and dismiss any elements of seriousness. It unlocks a new realm of creativity. So, go write, let it be a little humorous, get a laugh out of it, and smile at the masterpiece you have created.

Fruits of the brain rolling over the slabs
The wooden casket of my dreams
It is my haven that protects me from death
And ever so stoic in the ground it stands
It will never budge for it retracts the light

But the warmth it contains
On this barren tract of land
In all its chaos in its branding
For the comfort it holds
And the truth it confronts

Protect me
Serious
I’m in love and it’s serious!
Your falling in love and I told you don’t take this too serious’
I love you and it’s serious!
It’s over are you serious!
I can’t believe your acting like this, it ain’t that serious!
You’re taking this situation way too serious.
Seriously, I think you’re crazy.
Emotions are so serious.
Life, as well as love, is to be taken seriously.
Just thinking of a past relationship,  I so nonchalantly embraced 'childish meaning!

A Way with words
A Way with wonder
A Way with thoughts
A Way with ponder

A Way with daydreams
and lucid reminiscence
A Way with bursting at the seams
with thought's threaded essence

A Way: The wrong way it is
for seriousness to attend
A Way: The wrongness from righteousness
of so many acceptences to bend
Who cares?
