Just as the year is ending
(As winter snows the leaves)
The autumn glow pretending ~
The winter chill deceives.
As squirrels start defending
Their caches underground,
December's shiver pending,
And swallows southward bound.

The cool of day is blending
(As it frosts the forest floor)
Into the sunset tending
To be sooner than before.
The boughs of treetops bending
As gales race through their form
Spiralling and wending
Propelled by winter's storm.

And so, the nightfall sending
(As shadows shade the sky)
The cool of night and rending
The fair of day awry.
With winter's shroud descending
To cause the season's drear,
Just as the year is ending ~
The closing of the year.

ASJ
Seasons of the weather
Seasons every year
Like the wind blows
in four directions
Different seasons will appear

Seasons of the heart  however
Are seasons of the mind
They come without a warning no direction of any kind

They come and go whenever
Leaving you behind
Behind with different feelings
Such are seasons of the mind

Always listen to your calling
Giving meaning to it all
Then peacefulness will follow
Giving Innerpeace of mind

Innerpeace
most  precious season
of them all.

When ice and snow does winter bring
I close my eyes and dream of spring
when flowers blush, where Sun is king
and wake to hear a bluebird sing

Seasons come and go —
Spring births Summer; Autumn leaves;
Winter yields her woe

If you can see the beauty, live; {long i}
be there, in that
time in space tucked in
after ever before and know,
I am not God,
but I'm good… annext to never more
as ever after all.
Yes, word play is okeh, life shrugs the struggling future into ifery whenity,
and i notice the lilac has lost all it's green, i saw that coming.

You
Your smile, your voice, your laugh, they all intoxicate me
You leave me breathless
You magnetize me
Your eyes reflect the depths of an  uncharted ocean.
You are so eloquent, so charismatic
You are like a dream, a fantasy
As I lay in bed and I wonder why I’m here and where I belong you come to mind
I am so in love with you
I tried to fight it at first but there's nothing more that I can do my heart won't let me be free
I just want one more day to be with you
I want to peacefully fall asleep intoxicated by you.
All of my  unhappiness stopped the moment I saw you
You brought Utopia to me
Darling when you smile it's like the rain stops and time is at a standstill
Without you, there is no me. You complete me, you’re the best of me. Your laughter and happiness is the scale of my happiness.
So just as the night leaves, morning comes, when spring leaves, summer comes and just like the flower wilts and the fruit grows ripe everything goes everything grows so grow with me please, change is  certain so change with me please, please hold my hand

Mischievious whimsy,
knee high flare
Loosely lifted
On warm summer sighs
Pink on paleness
Lilting with each
Light step
Of bare feet
On burnt grass.
Dainty matchstick
Wrists, turned quick
And ringed with daisies
That drop their petals
Like wishes.
Hair all caught sun
And caught sky
Above cheeks
The colour of flowers.

its darker than I thought it would be now
that always seems to happen in winter
I forget what it's like
for the days to grow so short
and the nights to grow so cold
it happens every year
but I never remember

there's some kind of grace in that
our ability to forget
just how dark
the world
can be
