this verse arrived when in my mind did you
i know the voice sings clear but the heart speaks true,
a crippled old man, that heart tells tales
of the self and the journey, that gripping your sails:

losing to winds which chill our bones
the crack in my hull, boat sinking as stones
like ones in the river, which we threw when in love,
our lips have been sewn, but that's push come to shove,

upon the river banks comes that song we had sung,
washing up with the stones, and the remains of my lung.
in a hurry written in math class, bur(ry)ial of love.

I saw a glimpse of heaven on an old park bench
but you said the location didn't make much sense
and struggled to see the beauty of all the falling leaves,
so I sighed, and got up, asking if we should leave.
reflection helps me learn not to let other people **** on your wonder x
a nocturnal ship
of silver shade sails across
the sky's dark expanse
it journeys farthest distance
on a lunar cruise

'Twas a time I deemed thee love;
  the echoes lacked contraire
Sea moon shadows dance across
  this isle of despair

Entwined flesh eyes doth ne'er perceive,
  outside the mortal's scope
No sole charter giveth passage
  through salty waves unknown

'Tis what I think to see thee there
  on pedestals of gold
Forevermore you place thyself
  on stalwart shores alone

Unfurl thy sails for distant lands;
  the lighthouse shines once more
Praying to gods that long lost ship
will find its way to port.
Little white sails
Skimming the horizon
Little white clouds
Whisped throughout the sky
Little sandy pebbles
Tumbling through my toes
Little loudening thoughts
Of life just passing by.

Let me sail away forever,
Let me cast off from the shore,
Let the swirling mists engulf me,
Till reality rules no more,
Let me sail the mighty oceans,
Let me pass by cliffs anew,
Let me navigate a passage
Through the rolling veil of blue,
Let my anchor never hold me,
Let my sails always billow out,
Let me sail away forever, and
May I never turn about.

A slight slip of the fingers, like an ocean, as the sky is filled with wind in every which direction. I let you go, like a cast of a sail.
I hold the rays that light the bay
Early in the morning
I smell the salt and taste the air
as the day is forming
The gulls turn wing and then they fling
their Feathers to the sea
The clouds peer pink as they sink
lighting comes a storming
The air picks up and cools my cup
of coffee that remains
I step in the boat that's sure to float
knowing the journey's waiting
The planks are sound , the masks come round
the ropes and fibers straining
A chop that blows , the tide it flows
the ebb of life has past
The sea's dark gray and appears to say
your albatross awaits you
Whatever's to be is alright with me
I'm not captive to this world
I drop my sails , ring three bells
Here ye , here ye , here ye
I set my course without remorse
destined for eternity
I used to live in Panama City , Florida .
