You’re the next Jesus Christ,
Waiting to be crucified,
Among your flock of sheep.
Blue eyes ready to slice,
I, your prophet beautified,
Heresy to stab deep.
Let’s gather around you,
To magnify your glory,
Nails to skin under glass.
Raindrops rising from dew,
Superficial & weary,
Ready the blinding mass.
Hosanna of the high,
Dare you me to deny…

Love stumbled into a garden, one sunny spring morning
Light trickled through the branches
Shadows danced along the grass
Birds sang from up above
There were flowers everywhere
Cold wind touched her spine in shivers

"Tend to the garden, love, it needs you"
So she watered the rows of plants, she nurtured the seeds
She watched them bloom, she never looked away

"Tend to each one, love, they need you"
So she knelt on the dirt and spoke to every flower
Caressing their petals, cradling their leaves

Then Summer came

"Never leave their side, love, they need you"
So she never slept, never dreamt
Never ate, never turned away

"Protect the garden, love, it needs you"
So she sheltered it from the storm
Coddled it away from the summer heat

Autumn came

"Careful, love, they're dying"
She felt a panic in her chest, but didn't let it show
She gave them more water, she gave them more care

"Save them, love, they're dying"
Determined, she did everything she could
Paced the garden, wondering what had gone wrong

Winter came

"Heal them, love, look what you've done"
So she watered them more, she cleared up the snow
She brushed away the frost biting at the flowers

"You hurt them, love, look what you've done"
Wilted, here they were
The garden gray, shriveled, lifeless

"I don't understand" Love whispered
Tears fell from her cheeks
The shadow replied,
"You killed the garden, the very one I trusted you to tend"
"But I cared for them, like you told me to" Love shook her head
"Did you?"
"Yes, of course, I sacrificed everything for them"
"Love is not sacrifice"
"Then what is it?"
"Love is letting go."
in the spring, they'll bloom again...

Inside a garden
Of misleading wonders,
A rose so wondrous
With thorns are obvious.

It's painful and slow
But carry overtones to grow
Its petals bleed
But worthy to be someone's lead

Thorns protect flowers--
Just like teachers
Who protect us to fully bloom
And pass through tall wall looms.
Guess we all had that 'teacher' who left a huge impact in our lives

In this remote and cold world
Peter and his beautiful wife, Pearl
lived alone, most on their own, together
Pearl loved Peter with her life
she was an honourable wife
till death, did do them apart, forever

Every morning before the sun
she’d rise up and she would come
and kneel at his feet by the bed
She’d roll on his warm sock
put on his slippers, in her smock
every day, since the day they had wed

All her friends knew of her love
mocking, laughed, “it’s enough!
thinking, he treated her like a slave
But it was only then, when he died
that they all stopped and sighed
realising just exactly what he’d gave

for every night when they’d sleep
he pulled up the blanket to keep
her face warm and little nose
for poor Peter was taller
and the covers were shorter
exposing his feet and freezing his toes

A new path has started to etch itself before me
and I find myself reflecting on my journey and how it used to be
I’ve committed my whole life to this dream
but looking back it’s the only path I’ve stayed true to it seems
I’ve sacrificed so much to be here
But what is a dream without conquering some fears?
Or suffering through pain and shedding some tears?

I don’t know if the aching of my heart is a requirement to fulfill dreams or if it’s just the aftermath of it all
But I won’t let anyone see and I’ll keep standing tall

Because I know looking back that the turmoil endured has helped be grow
and has taught me not only to go with the flow
But to forgive those who tried to shatter my passion that clearly shows

So, thank you to everyone that I’ve met along the way
There is so much you’ve done for me every day
and despite the pain some of you have caused
It did not cause me to hesitate or pause
but rather push forward even harder
toward this dream of mine

So, here’s to my next adventure.
I know it’ll be so much to endure
But if i’ve spent my whole life chasing you
I’ve got nothing to lose.

for you to be
the blooming pink lotus,
i’ll be the marshy terrain unseen.

for you to be
the shimmering sagittarian star,
i’ll be the december night sky.

for you to be
the orange tip butterfly,
i’ll be the feather for your landing.

but when i burn
in that funeral pyre of time,
will you even bother to shed a tear?

My Lord transform my failures,
Transform my disappointments.
Turn it into a flowery perfume
That can please you alone
Let your greatness shine
Through poetry
Let love be my motto
From now on.

I have made a mistake
An overspending on risk
I shall throw them into the fire
Let it's scent be as sweet as wine
And if others are not pleased
I shall offer it to you, Lord
I shall offer it to you

I don't want to be a prisoner of the other
Not even of my own family
I want to be free like Superman
And follow the path that leads to you
I shall use the books I bought
As a map towards your glory
And I shall make new maps
To guide others to you

Am just a love letter to you
Am not the real thing.

My feelings for you are true but our worlds aren't the same.

In as much as i hate to admit  this
But its time I let u go.

I walk the rain,
Till dusk & night.
I tossed & turned,
All full of fright.
I waited long,
All just for you.
I hate to say,
We’re done & through.
What will you know,
Come time to fix.
It’s not our fault,
Our love to mix.
Let rain to drop -
I love you much.
