Fertile precincts of toxic air, colourless
And unstable create, inexistent boundaries
Of oxygen *****, by electrical discharges
Ultraviolet caress. An atom more turns

The unscented scent into a pungent odour,
Pale blue molecules high temperatures detonate
While low ones, solidify in violet black coagula,
Generous enough to retain, for humanity

And wildlife and all beneath, a gaseous form
Up high to shield, the delicate planet hosting
Sparkles of consciousness from its star’s deadly
Compromising radiations, absorbing them to grant

A frail, balance through its presence in stratosphere
We know, as our fragile sheltering ozone layer,
Descending just a little lower to become once more,
Breathable life bearing oxygen penetrating

Our lungs inundating a system, flowing through
Veins where the pale blue molecules spring only,
Every now and then in white blood cells, fighting
Illful intruders ensuring, survival of amazing wonders.

Intangible perception of reflecting light,
Electromagnetic radiation stimulating
Mammalian photoreceptors, six million
Cone cells densely packed, in a point three
Millimetres area known, as the fovea centralis
Residing at the core, of colour-grasping retinas.

Red, green and blue, bases of interpretation,
As all others can be matched with a combination
Of the three, for trichromats to see, distinguish
Energy of wavelengths to believe in deception,
Think that colours do exist, a gift of pigments
Inherited from early vertebrates, while fish

And birds may see Ultraviolets, as they are given
An extra one. Classification in categories,
Yellow, orange, purple, indigo and many more,
Associated with objects through wavelengths
Of light reflecting from them depending on physical
Properties deciding, whether to reflect specularly,

Scatter or absorb. Objects thus have the colour
Of the light leaving their surface, while rainbows
Continue to enchant exquisitely, the eye of the
Beholder struggling, to understand the physics
Of such bewildering apparition. Waiting for evolution
To give it a few pigments more, for it to see beyond.

The singular marble of energy, infinitely dense,
Elected to expand towards inexistent directions,
Creating space to unfold volatile carpets of navy
Blue time, on which to develop endless potential.

Light ignites for particles to amalgamate reflections,
Evolving energy into matter, for atoms to compose
Spinning molecules assembled, filled with purpose
Pulled by force, of gravity building fusing stars.

Refractory minerals travel unnoticed and afar,
Leaving home to shower dust on spheres aligned
Orbiting a sun, where ingredients perfectly meld
Hosting falling comets and chondrites, water in disguise.

Suddenly life.

As the marble now exceeds measurement possibilities,
Perpetrating its expansion, outdoing light speed limits,
It decides to visit itself and its creations through the eyes
Of a species with a mind. Consciousness rise.

From a remote planet lost in its meanders,
Inhabitants of Earth slowly challenge their perceptions,
Reflecting shadows of primitive light to comprehend
Their role in the marble game encompassing all.

Suddenly the Universe.

math plus history equals hindsight.
science plus art equals human.

As we go to rest our bodies
in our soft, warm and cozy beds,
our minds drop from the highest mountain peek,
down to a nonstop fall that becomes the universe,
lightened by stars that shine in every single one of us.
Yet thode stars are so far away.

We fall in deep thought of confusion and doubt
that then becomes an inexplicable emotion.

We defy the laws of physics
to travel though the wormhole
and find that the other side of the universe is closer than we think
And that love really has no boundaries but just a twist in space.

Long distance relationships are strange, hope it works out for anyone that tries them.

They say love is the trigger
For a thousand chemical reactions,
The spark that ignites our bodies
With the force of nuclear bombs.

They say it is an explosion of
Electricity jolting life into
Our nerves.

But, there is nothing chemical
About us, love—
Not in the way our bodies
Are pulled into each other,
Or in the way our hands
Melt into each other’s skin.

Our love is pure physics, and
It’s as if we were meant to
Break every law of the universe.

Physicists call ‘electromagnetism’
The attraction of masses, bodies—
But, that word does not even begin to
Describe how badly I want
To get under your skin,
To become a part of your very being.

It’s not enough to explain that force of yours,
The way it seduces me
And reels me into you;
Into your soul.

You are the sun,
And I am every star,
Every moon and planet and comet,
All of me gravitating around you.
I am space-time bending for you,
I am every speck of dust slowly
Floating toward you.

And my love,
You have no idea how my hands
Long to burn with the touch of your skin,
With the heat of a thousand suns.

And when they finally do—
When my fingers can at last trace
The constellations in your collarbone,
Brush through the galaxies woven into your hair—
Only then will I allow the atoms of my being to dissolve
And become one with yours.
For it is only inside of you
That I can live.

'Healer' time take thy poor, black sheep,
and stop it from wondering
in the dangerous corners
of the mind,
because heaven and hell collided
inside a body and in unity they came
in the presence of all those
who conspired to it.

From the frontal to the occipital lobe,
dark thoughts obstruct
the brain’s watershed regions
and thanatos they bring.
The soul cannot take this coffin
anymore.

The stone is too heavy to carry;
sliding down and pushing up,
every night the pushing starts,
for the dawn, her courage to crack.

It may be like Hooke's law they say,
but bodies break down,
when people apply the extra force
and so do the souls,
long before.
