My father could use a little mercy now
The fruits of his labor fall and rot slowly on the ground
His work is almost over it won't be long, he won't be around
I love my father, he could use some mercy now
My brother could use a little mercy now
He's a stranger to freedom, he's shackled to his fear and his doubt
The pain that he lives in it's almost more than living will allow
I love my bother, he could use some mercy now
My church and my country could use a little mercy now
As they sink into a poisoned pit it's going to take forever to climb out
They carry the weight of the faithful who follow them down
I love my church and country, they could use some mercy now
Every living thing could use a little mercy now
Only the hand of grace can end the race towards another mushroom cloud
People in power, they'll do anything to keep their crown
I love life and life itself could use some mercy now
Yeah, we all could use a little mercy now
I know we don't deserve it but we need it anyhow
We hang in the balance dangle 'tween hell and hallowed ground
And every single one of us could use some mercy now
Every single one of us could use some mercy now
Every single one of us could use some mercy now

woman asks a why-oh-why
while-I’m-driving-interrogatory,

seeing that tears are rolling down
old poet’s face as we transverse
these United States,

on I-80, Heading to San Francisco,
over the George Washington Bridge,
commencing in Teaneck, New Jersey,
2,906 miles, not including getting lost.

Are you sad for any reason particular?
Are we lost already?

weeping for my country, for with every mile,
see amity and wisdom disappearing,
out the open window,
both by wind taken,
both forsaken,

our route is clear,
but I see what
I most fear, we are not lost,
but my country,
our poor country
is,
everywhere good people,
desperately seeking mercy now!

Peace is flowing as a river, and I am on a boat sailing down this stream
That’s love- No pain, no worries
Just water playing her music to my ears
I am a guest in Nature’s house
It makes no difference who I am.
Nor if I am me or you, she or he, we or them
She treats us just the same
In this field, there is no pain, no separation between me and it, certainly no gain
Time runs not forwards nor backwards here
All is Now and All will never be back then or later
Because the All that was then and will be later is just Now falsely projected by the mind of separation
There is a comfort in knowing everything changes
But an even deeper comfort in understanding its essence remains the same

In real time poem

You awake not knowing it's there waiting for you do you care it doesn't care how it's doing what it do moving forward doing its Duty the beauty of nature like air not just good air
But bad air
Now we want to care climate change
Now we have to keep and struggle for our own remains the the extinct species cry out of their Graves in nature it ain't so rewarding when you're going extinct the non-existent
As a human being
The Killer your unaware no main name only the one you gave the top brass
The Air Force Army and Navy stating
We are at War it's knocked off the Marines
And Special Forces who the hell are you
We the people need proof like you and me can't even start to say or see things or do
How you used to move smoove
You can't move no more got to close dig grooves
Now you know for sure it's you
Now how you choosing to walk forward after you wake from your dreams in your big bed and in your nice house you open your eyes to see if it's there the purpose to defeat it
And find a cure
To come up on a new task in time to improve and direct check to complete or decrease what's going around
Bad Air
Bad Air
You Breathing

Even though I wasn't dead,
           people prayed silently

at my tomb stone.

The wine I am tasting has just been tasted,
The perfume I am smelling has just been smelled,
The song I am hearing has just been heard,
The girl I am seeing has just been seen,
The skin I am touching has just been touched,
The many things I am thinking have just been thought,
These lines I am writing have just been written,
Are we then just living in the immediate past?

If time is relative, can now be extended?
Should we rather think of now as time-limited actions?
I will be drinking this wine until the last drop has sunk
I will be smelling this perfume until my receptors are saturated
I will be hearing this song until the battery lets me down
I will be seeing this girl until she disappears in the wild and out of my mind
I will be touching this skin until I am crippled by cramps
I will be thinking until my brain is starving
I will be writing these lines until an elusive timepoint
If these events take several minutes, several hours, or several days,
Is tomorrow then also now?

Can now be stopped?
Suspended, unanimated, just like a broken clock.
At the speed of light time does cease to exist.
Can I then slow now down when I run a sprint?
Now equals present, just like a gift
While present can lead to taking the final lift.
Can now happen when we are not?
Free of life, lying down, some with the precious key to the holy padlock.
Can now (truly) be synchronized when we live on different time-zones?
Different countries, different continents, different rhythms in similar ringtones.

How long is now?
As long as the finite time
Between the moment we’ve left the past
And the moment before we step into the future.
This sticking junction that can never be past.
Holy justice,
just dying.

The time is now,
moves forward from here..
never have we heard of
Time pausing or rewinding, have we?
Time is ticking..
tick..tick..tick..
Aching to relive the past or erase it..
Longing for an awaited future or absolutely dreading it..
Time is moving forward,
despite what state we are in.
Time is ticking..
tick..tick..tick..
While we’re thinking of dos and donts, hows and whys, ifs and buts..
Time is moving forward,
despite all odds.
Time is ticking..
let time not pass..
Let’s pass, through time..
make time count..
Make time count by living in the moment..
Live in the moment for what the moment is..the moment we certainly cannot change, now that time is already here.
