i left my toothpaste at home on purpose
i went to your house for fun
you looked so nice
longing stares
it's time for bed
oops i forgot my toothpaste
can i use yours
yeah? thanks
mwah
oh, so you use mint flavor?
i changed from bubblegum to mint after
lovelywildflower Nov 2018
i'm different
unique
i'm not like everyone else
which is a very important thing to remember
no one else is like me
most girls want roses
and milk chocolates
on first dates
but if you really want to please me
bring me sunflowers
and mint chocolate
and if you know that
then you have the key to my heart

just expanding a short poem i wrote

bring me sunflowers and mint chocolate
on our first date

Every day is new
the age-old sun
mints in sniffing
a blossoming fragrance
off nothing just off
the soil, a pure earth!

Deep inside of this
hallowed turf is a
a perfumed earth:
A rose in the heart!

Riptides with gusty winds
envelop over when it is most unexpected
channeling your inner stream of delightful moments
that was once with you way back when
you were fearless and fierce

Look up and breathe in tepidly
you don’t need an answer right away,
so stand beneath the clouds
             and stay

Wash over the inhibitions
by tiptoeing out to see the waves
At first semblance, coldness
           makes you shiver but later
the mint-colored sea brings
a smile to your face

mint symbolizes protection of illness and warm feelings
I hope you receive warmth within your surroundings in the upcoming days.

I told you,
didn't I?
If you don't water the mint plant
It'll die
Oh alright,
I can see it isn't dead
yet.
But plants are like love,
my love
They'll bear fruits
Even non-fruit-bearing plants
Will gift you something
But you cannot keep taking
and not give a thing in return
You need to tend to them
Nurture them
Talk to them
Give them your time
Then watch them flourish
Into something beautiful
And perennial
Spreading their fragrance
All around
All year round

You smell like mint and freshness
And I am so sorry I don't
I smell like plants and cigarettes and herbal teas
And you are my everything
And I am your nothing
