Each man has its duty, everyone may envision
A person with a wish, a man in a mission
Though each set of us, has a standard and condition
In each a task handed to us will create a result and fruition

We can take all of what needs to be done and finish it all
Even though it’s a big feat, you may think of it as small
However, burnout will happen and falter like the rest
Whereas you could’ve took one and made it the best

Take a small one, it should be really easy
A simple task which you can think may be measly
But will you be happy with a small scope like that
Why not challenge yourself with a bigger cap?

So you see my friend, we do have options about our limitations
It’s either we got one to finish, or take on a mountain of duty
Although each one may lead us in a treasure or *****
Think of yourself before you make a final decision
Another spur of the moment poem for our project in Humanities :)

Your only restricted by the walls you build up around yourself

And you say you have your life together , But you were poor.
Whatever it is you've been through , I have been through it before.

The dream doesn't make the person , the person makes the dream,
Whatever it is you've been through , I've already seen.

I've crashed through so many doors,
Shame was coming from my poors,
Doing all these Payless chores,
I've been through it before,

I've been through it before,
I've been through it before,
I've been through it before,
But it's whatever.

Flowing through another human being's emotions like essential oils,
You could  possibly choose the fate that they set, or
Live like society's pet,
Or you could become the vet,
Or you could run up a check,
Getting the hell out of Dodge,
Facing problems always to an extent to be labeled savage in a world
Don't Even give you the care you asked for, but,
What dose it take to get respect?
See all we do is recollect,
Most of us are too blind to see in this dark country where the enemy
Is camouflaged.

He who can balance the words
'power' and 'limitations' in his hands;
understands soundly
the definition of responsibility
and it's burden upon his shoulders.

To rule the world justly
is to bare the labours of Atlas.

know yourself and your capabilities,*

Aging arms
splotched with purple and red
signs of tangling
with jagged dead branches
reach for a copy
of Ted Kooser's *
Flying at Night
.
Pages flip
for a stop here and there
to read _Sunset
,
Carp
and _Spring Plowing

Envy swells inside him
with the realization
that he will never
write such fine poems
about memories
of childhood adventures

Like Kooser
he was reared
living rural
among tiger lilies
blooming in meadows,
amid newborn calves
teetering toward first steps,
and around
freshly spread manure
capturing the scent of fall air

His fingers still grimy
from early morning planting
place the volume
carefully beside
his empty coffee cup
content that he is blessed
to have discovered Kooser's work

He rises to tackle
digging potholes
for double begonias
to decorate his yard
and to dream
his dream
of pages unread.
and pages unwritten.
