Man of science,
Only sees what is there,
Wants to build the fence.

Man of religion,
Out of nothing sees everything,
Wants to envision the fence.

Man of philosophy,
Out of everything sees nothing,
Wants to sit on the fence.

Let's feast on the night

And gaze in delight

Soft sparkles admist a black haze

Breathe in moons arise

From vast cosmic skies

More calming than sweet softly days

For cloud can dim light

And drown out of sight

A sun single, solem, shining

But alas come the stars

Shimmering afar

A universe of siblings

Now sing

My issues are nothing new,
Not old either.
Just common.
Isn't that's what we all are?
Similar are our difficulties.
Just different setting, different levels.
We all are heirs to wisdom.
It grows and we learn.
I take my time with it. I lean forward. I try.
Everything is interconnected.
Everything is same.
Everything is common.
This world is common.
I'm bored and aren't you?
Shapes, colours, snowflakes.
Nothing were made to be similar.
The reason it's all so very interesting.
To feel, to see and to touch.
Their intricate patterns amuses me.
If the day goes white to blue,
And the nights yellow to black.
Aren't we all necessary. All the colours.
We weren't made to be different.
Be separated and humiliated.
But guess what we learned from humility.
We let wisdom grow inside us.
We let it strengthen our bonds.
We accepted us and so did others.
Now we come up at first.
And Now we stand out.
In a world this common,
Its refreshing to be different.

Yet another day of pain was put behind,
She lets out a sigh of relief as if the beast
That stalks her is duped for now, once more.

The last Metro train that night, slows down, stops.
To return to her regular prison she gets in hurriedly.
Emptiness bares it's fangs, that looked sweet in fact,
In comparison with the experiences of the day gone.

A suspicious bundle on the floor stirred at her touch,
A frail women almost frozen, living dead, eyes sunken
in sockets." How did you end up here?" she quarries.
"I fainted, didn't eat anything, for the past few days"

"Mother, you need to drink something hot quick.
Come with me I'll take care" her eyes get moist.
Then she smiles thinking how fortunate she is.
"My share of sweet misery is here to teach me
practice humility, even in an empty compartment"

A young man was walking along when he came across monk who was sitting on the side of the path meditating.

The young man, curiously stopped. “You are not from here? For I know everyone in this kingdom, and everyone know who I am. My name is Narcissus, son of Cephissus, and I am King of this land. Where do you come from, and what are you doing in my kingdom?

The Buddhist monk sat silently, and continued to meditate. His eyes were closed and at his side was a banana and a pale of water.

“Did you hear me? I am Narcissus and I am King of this land. If you know me like my people do, you would know that; I am honest, I am kind, and I am loving and full of compassion. I am fair and just. I am an advocate of peace, I judge no-one, and my subjects love me. And you sir, what are you?”

The monk opened his eyes, took the banana and peeled it. He halved it and offered Narcissus the King the other half, then continued meditating without saying a word.

Narcissus ate his banana, musing at the monk who didn’t speak. Why do you not speak?” asked Narcissus. I am the King and I demand to be answered when I ask a question.”

It was deathly hot, so the monk offered Narcissus a drink from his pale of water.

“I am thirsty. I will accept your offer,” said Narcissus. He drank all that was in the ladle and helped himself to another. He stood and waited for the water in the pale to become still again. Then he pitched over and looked into it, admiring his reflection, and smiled. I am still beautiful he thought. Again he addressed the monk, asking him who he was.

The monk leant over and kissed Narcissus on the feet, and bowed to him without saying a word.

Narcissus peered down at monk, smiled, and said to himself, “strange man,” and moved on.

The monk resumed his position, smiled, and whispered to himself,
“I am nothing.”

A judgemental, prideful and arrogant writer confines within his mind.
I never quite realised how important humility is in a writer; in order to express yourself, you need to stop judgement --of yourself through other eyes-- from clouding your expression.

What is this craving?
And where does it lead?
I was nothing...
                              but...
bare witness inside of me.

**Please.

The crown of my unrighteousness pierced Thy skull,
And drops of blood flowed into the veins of Thy brain,
Quite often I please the ruler of the flesh,
But all my ways ripped the heart of the Redeemer.
Thou wert stripped when I am shrouded with iniquities,
Thou wert spit when I choose the fleshly acts,
Thou wert scorned for my fruitless words,
My sins of pleasure nailed Thy palms on the Cross.
Intermittently I let the spirit of evil into my soul,
And how often Thou wert lashed by filthy transactions,
Thou wert kicked with the filth of my boot,
With my heart of pride Thou wert slapped.
Thou hast created me and all within;
Yet Thy Love for Thine made the Way with Thy humility.
The Creator's Love for mankind is revealed in His humility. My sins torture the Lord Jesus Christ.
