When I was younger
I always thought
My family loved each other
Not unrealistically like in the movies
But more in their humanly
And flawed way

But now that I am older
I wonder if it was love at all
It all feels like an illusion
To cover up the rotten core
Of greed and pride

naive : unaffected simplicity
desire : to long; hope for
temptation : act of appeal
greed : selfish, extravagant desire
pride : state of excessive self-esteem
arrogance : overbearing pride, personal superiority; contempt
sin : offense against the moral law

these are applicable to all humans.
what a nice sentence.

Too ambitious,
too **** vicious,
watches suffering
and thinks
that’s delicious,
I can use it.

Gets the crowed
crowing,
stirring rage
hatred growing,
a perfect way
to stop them
from thinking,
and getting them
drinking
that bitter Koolaid.

Turns a cheap phrase
into a simple slogan
turns a bitter man
into a bomb exploding.

So, the rich men
get richer,
the middle gets scared,
the poor gets trampled,
and only a handful
notice and care.

in this human plant *** i sit
withering away bit by bit
no sunlight here nor in far sight
with such little to my delight

hindered from growth
filled with self-loathe
to who do I call
to bring forth rainfall?

drop by drop I float atop
this human plant *** encasing its crop
I'm drowning amidst what feels to be a drought
of meaningful moments of what I'm without

the *** is now all that remains
in telling a story of one's only gain
in consuming more than is required
in losing yourself to desire.

Many a time in subtle and other ways nature tried to warn us.
Spewing fire from mountain tops flooding the land, water rising in high waves from the ***** of the ocean.
Black plague it sent now a tiny virus.
Not a lesson have we learnt not a line understood.
While building tower of babel, it is said misunderstanding was sown in our midst, to stop us from our task.
We still build tower's that touch the clouds and dig deeper than the deepest valley.
Forgetting that simple living is the best.
Want not more than your hand can hold,
a bed to sleep a roof to protect from the cold, it was ment to be thus.
Greed and false pride got us here forgetting that all we need is 6 feet of space our final resting place.

Worth is your weight in gold

shine you up, so sparkle

then throw you into my collection

I need more, so much more

gather up in handfuls, wondering

how much I can sell the human body for?

your only value

is the price tag around your wrist
