in fear of our time growing scarce
we weave knots in the kitchen
pride and care entangled
in danger to gauge
effects to bear

aching
lone
choices
to live with
in years to pass
while we age beside
each  other  tied  to face
our regrets spreading under
the  layers  holding  who  we  are
to become in the way we cope through

A chaos that we were
A storm that we went into
Felt like the world has ended right there and then
When you said the word farewell

Every prayers, every wish
Genuine as they came
Every smile, every tears
As real as they came

Perfect is far from what we were
Did we even know what we were?

The world, now a different place
The scenery, now is just a blur
The colors, all black and white
The sound, is just muted background

When the world heard of us part
It just started crumbling apart
