Shattered breathing,
tear-spangled eyes,
body defeated,
feelings scarred,
and soul reaped open.

She was cut open,
for everyone to see
every crevice of her dignity,
every inch of her once healthy soul,
primed through
the man who broke her heart
who put a dent
through the chambers of her heart.

She was never fixed,
but what she wants
was for her fellow humans
to discover how to fix
the brokenness of her heart.

Entry no. 9: Human Anatomy.

When love meets science, and love breaks while science bends.

Of bright mornings
and scorching beds
Your body lays
unmoved and spent

Rarely do you stay for coffee
but it's past 8 am
and still
you're here beside me.

Nothing is more amazing
than Sunday mornings spent
with your happy, sleeping face
nestled against my *******.

- PMT
Entry no. 8: Sundaze. It's a Tuesday in the country I'm in, but feels like a Sunday, so there.

A long overdue poem, I must say. Summer time has come, and so my veins sweat to write words to be shared through here. Have a nice morning (or evening) to you, stranger.

Writing is the way to my existence:
what my heart beats for,
my lips kiss,
my mind thinks,
my skin craves,
and my soul hungers for,
I make known
through words
that my pen bleeds
to write across
your skin made of paper.

Entry no. 7: Body Poetry.

Actions through words.

Flowers are a woman's best friend:
even as the petals wither,
just as a woman's body does,
the core still remains,
beautiful and as vibrant as ever.

Entry no. 6: Flower Girl

May you bloom as the darling buds of May.

I am in love with the beauty of solitude:
it is in the quiet where we hear
the loudest of cries
and the thunderous of roars.

- PMT
Entry no. 5: Loving Solitude.

Perfect for alone time. Thank you, stranger.

There are two sides of goodbye:

Good, as to
"It was good seeing you."

And bye, as to
"But I must go."

- PMT
Entry no. 4: Good Side, Bye Side.

Goodbye has always been the easiest farewell but the hardest hello. Tell me what you think, stranger.
Pamella Dec 2014
It is not the amount of time shared
the amout of tears shed,
or the laughter lines that embed:
it is the cold, demeaning dread
that encircles my head
whenever our time together
ends.

Entry no. 2: Missing You.

To the significant people you and I miss.
Pamella Dec 2014
Two vowels
one word,
two eyes
one world.

"Hello", you said,
as you caught me blushing
under a cherry blossom tree

Little did we know
that it was the start;
cupid's arrow went straight through my heart
Because darling, I knew,
you'll take my hand
and take the world in two's.

-PMT
Entry no. 1: Hello!

Everything starts at hello. So as I thought I should. I hope you, yes you, lovely stranger, would come and take an adventure with me. And it all starts with this. (And the follow button perhaps - I am totally new to this thing). Thank you.
