we know the thrill, the trembling, the rush
the falling into falling into falling
only words survive of me as I surface
no escape for the velocity of resonance
a singularity  undescribable
beyond the bones an unfinished poem

you remember the confessions you made to my skin
how I used to touch you as if you were a land of the impossible
still possessed by a dreamy beast, my blood
as if the days hadn't invented the time of dying
love starts with a sigh, with a passing by
waiting for something to happen to the wind

In the time
In-between his breaths
I saw the mist of lies
His soul has whispered to mine

Oh, love, we walked into each other's gaze,
A dance of fate in life's intricate maze.
In the tapestry of time, our paths aligned,
Two souls converging, destinies entwined.

Underneath the stars, our story began,
A serendipitous encounter, a cosmic plan.
Through the twists and turns of life's grand scheme,
In each other's eyes, we found a cherished dream.

Oh, love, we walked into a shared space,
A realm where emotions find their grace.
Hand in hand, through joy and through strife,
We navigate the journey of this shared life.

In the echoes of laughter and the silence of night,
Our connection deepens, our hearts take flight.
Oh, love, a fusion of souls, beautifully spun,
In each other's arms, we've become one.

As we traverse the pathways of destiny,
Oh, love, you and I, an endless symphony.
We walked into each other, a destined art,
A timeless connection, etched in the heart.

guy scutellaro
heavy rain from a darkening sky
and buildings  fall

no one knows what will be left
running down the nowhere
where dreams die
on a metal tray
at the hospital morgue

trouser leg pushed up
the search for black ink
and a child's name
begins

perhaps the arm
the hip

the back?

and the children plead,
lie to me,
tell me,
i won't die,
today

and the silent screams
are left in an eternity of why?

foul and bitter hearts
will prevail
on both sides,
this is the poetry of death

You bestowed the gift of memory upon me, and they now proudly adorn my soul as a timeless treasure. If you have any more such gifts, don't keep them to yourself; I'd love to wrap them around my soul and illuminate you as well.
