To seek the narrow scope
Of ancient tongue
And forlorn script
Wherein beauty held science
And love conquered skin
In spite of dismal truth
That senile surrender
Let the stars be swallowed
Whole by the sun
Let that awe surround
And in time, confound
The sons and daughters
Of logic unknown yet
For fear of forgetting
The marvellous, vacuous beauty
That encircled your eye

You can put on your best face,
You can put on your best smile,
You can laugh really hard,
You can tell jokes all day long,
But yet still be broken inside.
But yet still feel lonely.
But yet still be feeling depression.

You can put on all the make up you want.
But unable to fully cover up all the scars or bruises.
You can climb the highest mountains,
Yet your soul can still be trapped in the valley.

The say fake it till you make it.
But you can fake it all your life and never make it.
You can look like your blessed,
Yet feel miserable and cursed.

Never judge books by their covers.
Night sits on my chest
Squeezes poems out of me
And grinds my poor soul

I cannot compose brilliant poems, sonnets, or verses,

and I cannot speak to you in Latin or Greek;

I cannot move you with any language made up by man.

Love is the only only language I could touch you with

If you only knew how much I could love you.

If you knew I love you;

If I were brave enough to tell you at all.
Let's leave the world behind.,
And meet in silence,
Where the words are no longer required,
To express what we feel...
Us
As the crimson red colour fades
As the last ray of sun dies
I fetch myself out
Run toward the roads
Sieve the sand of my fortune
To if there exist a single line
Line of your laughter and smile
Holding my hands in your own
To see if there still exists
The last possibility
For you and me
As us......
she
she was a warrior,
fighting every demon against her,
she never learnt to bow before pain,

she was an artist,
painting happiness in everyone's life,
pouring love even when her own heart was experiencing rain,

she was a healer,
curing every sick heart,
just by touch of her gentle hand,

she was a lover,
loving every moment of her life,
the blooming flowers as well as the grains of sand......

In middle school everyone was so mean and sad,
walking around the hallways wearing nothing but black.
So many heads down and eyes staring at the ground,
some kids walked like ghosts and just never made a sound.
We wore black to remember the happiness we all once had,
But our depressions never mattered because kids in Africa had it bad;
We were dramatic because there's war in Iraq.
You called us ignorant because we weren't happy with what we have.
My best friend took his life one year after middle school,
kids were so damaged that they only knew how to be cruel.
He didn't hesitate to tie a simple knot,
But it's ok, because he's just ignorant and his hurting was "wrong."
Now a mother cries out every night,
a Father can do nothing but hold her tight
as they mourn because they will never forget the sight
of their baby grown up with a silent mouth and frozen eyes.
Open your hearts to my generations hurt,
join our funeral from years before.
Today we gather with hearts torn and skin scarred
to remember who we were and cherish now, who we are.
Your eyes lit up the skies
Tonight,
Dark curtains
Torn open
by the light of you
Shining so brightly
Oh, what you mean to me.
Heart quickens
When you smile at me.
