the passerby

Pax
along with my useful lively self
i stroll the path of faceless crowds
they might not know me
I might not know them
but I'm glad as I watch
them do their story
and I on a steady phase
create the background
of my life,
the passerby...

a bit raw

i guess this will be the second part of my poem passerby.

The look in a child's eye,
Can make any trial in this life,

Killing in the name of whatever god is always wrong!
A variation on the closing lines of my poem TRUMPETEERS

allison
I watched my innocence disappear at 13 years old as my clothes also disappeared all because a senior boy was stronger than me.  I remember begging to call my mom, but he couldn't hear me over his ******* moans.  I scrubbed my body til it bled everyday for two months.  I remember my mother would always tell me I am full of cities.  They caught on fire that year.  I watched them burn to the ground.

Well, we had a good run
And alls fun and games until someone falls
But what you dont realize is that you made me fall for you
And thats not the kind of love i wanted for myself

Because if one FALLS one can GET BACK UP
so if I have FALLEN in love with you chances are I'll just STAND back up and keep walking.

So gather your things, my darling
And I'll help you out the door
And the last few words I'll speak to you will be
"I don't love you anymore"

Because I'm done falling and I just wish to stand
I'm kneeling now and they're giving me their hand
They're helping me up instead of bringing me down
And now I'll say goodbye
Because this is the last time you'll see me cry

I just hope that all of this living will be worth something in the end

ARI
With sweet lips spewing lies
Of life's grand perfections;
Fictitious light placed inside
My 'ever vacant wandering eyes.

Id nod my head; shake their hand
While pretending I was joyous;
Laugh about and dance around
While we listened to the band.

With a wide smile upon my face
The photographer snapped a shot;
Eternalizing "lovely" depression, of which
Seeped into my soul and stole my grace.

I'm drowning in the screaming words
Of all the truths I've never shared;
They’ve become my grim lullabies
Forever sung by my inner songbirds.
