I gave you the strings of my heart
For you to untangle,
Or maybe create an art
But you tied them around my neck,
Pulled the end
And hanged me high instead

Now I can't breathe.

And just when she
was about to read
a foreword,
–again
It's already what she
had always expected
and feared,
–"The End"

Two hearts gave up on each other out of fear and the saddest part was, they were only starting to beat.

In another dimension you could take heed of her dreams;
a desire no deeper than a pair of wings
praying she can soar the skies, again,
                  like airplanes do
because even the fallens are angels too

A sinner writes to God.
Lizley Jan 2016
"I tried to hide it and fight it",
said the girl
– said everyone's crying shoulder
"But for once
I just want to feel
that someone can stand up for me too
in times when I can't seem to find the strength
to do it for myself."
Then with trembling lips and teary eyes,
*she smiled.

Everyone thinks that you're okay, that you're fine.
Because you've always been the strong one.

Keep your body next to mine
I need this warmth,
the sticky sweat your skin pours
Keep your tongue in my mouth
I long for this taste,
the nectar that settles between your lips
Keep me inside you
I'll keep you,
I love you
Just keep your body next to mine

You, your secret desires and your hidden agenda. Liars go to hell, eh?
Lizley Jan 2016
Shhhh

Yes I probably should just keep my mouth shut
about this
about you
about *us

About that hell breach of trust;

About the evil you probably should've not done
to me
and to her
and I heard, to another
To each one of us, the "one you love" eh?

I wonder into how many
broken. little. pieces.
your childish empty heart split
That you could lend each one of us
one part of it

Shhhh

Yes I probably should just keep my mouth shut
but I've had enough
I am tired
of catching nosy stares
and of being the kind little martyr

The respect,
the hope, that small trust
that was left
All gone
All drowned into disgust

It ain't a bitter feeling
not even bittersweet
darling, say
it's just a one deep sigh
after one tiresome and foolish afternoon play

But
Shhhh
don't worry kid
Though I realize all this time I have done so,
I'd still be keeping my mouth shut

About you
About us
About that ****, breach of trust
Yes I'm keeping my mouth shut
but I'm letting this verse do all the blab

They die a thousand deaths
until they find one
that can get rid of their last breath,
until dying
is the only thing that's left

of
*Memories.
