Eberyday i get up
Brush my teeth
Get dressed
Have breakfast
Go to work

And hope to overtake your heart with a tiny little blink of the eye or a touch of my fingertips to your shoulder.

Everyday.

I think of you 
As I write tonight 
I try to focus 
On every word
And line and sentence
But all I'm left with are
Senseless paragraphs
And your name written 
At the back of my hand

because he is a successful man
because he wears a suit and tie
everybody, let's rally around
we should listen to that guy

we should ignore that guy

My english teacher says
You **** at writing

My math teacher says
You're gonna fail

My history teacher says
Go to sleep

My science teacher says
Just get out

Yet they still want me to learn
*How am I supposed to do that?
