two steps towards the sunset
just a moment after sunrise
the sky looks its best yet
when I see it through your eyes

The twists and turns
Of the never ending
Love Trance.
A winding path
Snaking this way than that.
Lost and confused
I follow the path I choose.
Where it will lead me
Nobody knows.
It is left to fate
To decide where it goes.
I wish I knew what happened to you.
Cause after everything we have been through
I still search for you.
A path that will lead me back to your heart.
Where I could stay,
Till the sun set,
And the world was dark.
For all we know,
There is a way.
A way we can fix this.
Repair what has been un-done.
But I cannot find the solution.
The problem remains,
Without resolution.
There is no light at the end of this tunnel,
But I guess that’s how it goes in this never-ending play.
Cause that’s all this is at the end of the day.
An unfortunate series of events,
Formally addressed as,
The Love Trance.

I am drowning in your river of lies.
The tall tales you spun to trap me like a fly.
I followed you to my own demise,
and yet still, I can't open my eyes
to the reality so plain and true
that I am simply nothing to you.
Something to float on in this ocean of confusion,
but not to be taken to the safety of the shore.
You brought me to a safe place,
only to release me to the vastness
of the river you made for me,
to drowned me in,
*rather then set me free.

The truth be told
I love you.
The truth revealed
I do.
The problem is
We are best friends
So this, could never work.
Your heart belongs to another.
While mine remains unclaimed.
I wish you could see
What I conceal from you
Cause some part of me wonders...
Would you feel it too?
This pull we have to each other
That started something so great.
A powerful bond,
Tight and strong.
So is it ok,
If I dare say,
Is it possible we could be so much more?

Songs are books;
They share a story that is meaningful,
and personal,
etched into the lyrics themselves.
They tell of disaster and triumph,
loss and love,
happiness and sorrow,
often rolled into one.
Although the meaning
may be hidden just out of sight,
with a little time and effort
the plot will become easier to pinpoint.
Cause if you listen to the words
behind that melody,
you will find the hidden meaning,
the plot of this songs
story.

Gold dipped rays,
Seep through the clouds,
As this stormy day,
Draws to a close.
No need to cower,
The storm is over.

The daffodils;
Pristine yellow
With a soft white hue.
A cup for the fairies
Evening tea for two.
Dancing in the peaceful breeze
In a synchronized tango with
The deciduous trees.
