Blue Sapphire
Destruction caused by war,
Innocent lives lost,
Everything turned to dust .

Where do we pick up
How do we rebuild
How do we overcome the grief
of the loss of our loved ones

How do we begin again
How do we find the strength to move on
How do we live on
when everything is gone

         TOGETHER

we can - if we join hands.

Beneath the sparkles of my teary eyes
You'll find refelctions of you.
Beneath the charm of my shady smile
You'll find whispers of you.
Beneath the layers of my weary heart
You'll find beats of you.
Beneath the depths of my lonely soul
You'll find you.

But I know, you know—
You don't have any traces of me, do you??

Little Drummer Boy

The drummer
We see today,
Is still the 'Little Drummer Boy'
From yesterday.
His dreams
You gave,
Still, bounce along
The beats to the eternal song,
Breathe new life
In the air today,
So he may fulfil
His destiny.
Lent is the practice of sacrifice (going without) and remembrance. This year, I am giving up chocolate and will try to write a poem in my new “Lent Collection” each day. Enjoy!

Erenn
He gave her orchids, not roses, not flame—
But quiet things, with roots that cling
To silent bark, and bloom in shade—
The way he loved, unseen.

She smiled like spring, but loved like wind,
Passing through without regret.
He stayed like dusk, holding the light,
Even as the sun forgets.

The others brought tangerines, bright and sweet,
Sun-kissed and easy to hold—
But he only offered orchids, slow to bloom,
In a language too patient, too old.

She never saw how he watered hope,
In a garden she never walked.
How he learned to speak her silences,
And answered when she never talked.

He watched her dance with summer hearts,
Each one burning out too soon—
Yet still, he kept the orchids near,
Blooming beneath a winter moon.

No final scene, no curtain fall,
No music swelled, no kiss—
Just him and orchids, year by year,
Tending love that she won’t miss.

Despite all this, always smiling
His love for her, unwavering.

Erennwrites
"They say you need countless lifetimes of fate to meet even once in this life. If you miss it when it brushes past, that’s the end.”

i saw a bluebird
and a cardinal
out the window
and i thought of
my mother’s many
miscarriages
i imagined her
weeping, kneeling
over her womb
laid out on a stretcher
above her
no longer feeling
a small heartbeat
bouncing around
the silence of
her tongue
i saw a bluebird
and a cardinal
out the window
and i thought of
the fact that i was
sitting here looking
at birds
as my mother’s
daughter flew
as if there
were a sun in the room
and i cried
as if she could
feel my tears inside
of her
like my tiny fingers
and feet
when i was in
her beautiful
stomach
i saw a bluebird
and a cardinal
out the window
and i thought of
the event
of being born
i do not remember
my birth
nor does
the doctor
whom i cannot claim
to have never met
hands scored
with disinfectant
touching my newborn
body
delicate
i grew up to
tell people i
was born in texas
and they tell me
all about texas
and i learn more
than i would had
i not been born
there, had
i not lived elsewhere
a box
of tissues on
the nightstand
i saw a bluebird
and a cardinal
out the window
and i thought of
how i was a
completely new
person to her
(my mother)
when i was born
and does
a parent ever
truly know the
stranger they created?
so i sat
and wondered
all the while
my mother
in a car
reassuring my every
turn, dodging roadkill
flies on the antlers
more carcasses
than yellow lines
on the road
i saw a bluebird
and a cardinal
out the window
and i thought of
my mother and i
and how are we?
and how many?
Paranoid,
Panicked,
Concerned.
Can I do without it?
Can I live a life without anxiety?
I hope so,
I pray for peace,
I pray,
Is that a root of concern in me?
Keeping a level head is tough

I asked God,
What happened to this world...?

Chirping birds became noisy horns,
Majestic trees replaced by haunted thorns.
Dense forests turned to toxic crowds,
Now heaven is hidden in denser clouds.

Humans became demons in daylight,
Every festival now ends in fight.
AI paints beautiful trees,
But a painting can't make us breathe free.

All relations turned into jokes,
Children leave their parents chasing hopes.
Even animals sacrifice for their children lives,
But here a mother killed her own child.

I again asked God, weeping in my silent tears,
God replied me,
Don't worry my dear,
THE END IS NEAR!!
Every religioius textbooks have warned us about the ending of the world because of humans desires but no one cares and soon we will see the circumstances.

His colloquy, vintage, rich and bold
Unveiling nuances, young and old
Subtleties dance, like fireflies at night
Whispered innuendos, a gentle, sweet delight

His flavor, a lingering caress
Savoring bliss, in each
tender address
In this sensory waltz, entwined
A delicate balance of taste and design

Where words become wine,
and wine becomes art
Relentless aftertaste, a deliberate
imprint on the heart

Your adorable footprints,
Etched on the earth's soft clay,
Whisper of joy in a delicate ballet.
Each step a hymn, each breath a prayer,
A song of hope woven through the air.

With every stride, the heavens rejoice,
The wind carries your sacred voice.
In the dance of light, where shadows depart,
You leave a trace upon every heart.

O’ blessed soul, whose path we trace,
In your footsteps, we find our grace.
For in your journey, we too shall know,
The joy of walking where love does flow.

Prophecy spoke full healing,
I believed it to be in this world;
But alas, I conclude now, with deeper understanding,
It shouldn't be so, but done in the new world
What lies within, surpassing time: everlasting.

Change me like a Rubik’s Cube

Can we taste glory, not shame?

Faith is a full-sensory experience;
Enliven our senses today that we may claim Your glory.

We often live deep in our thoughts,
Surrounded by the shame
Of this world.
Tasting the fruit of evil,
But You are calling me to life.

Love me; shower me with Your sunshine,
Change me like a Rubik’s Cube,
And free me
From the entanglements
Of my shame.

May I never be the same!

.
Stronger, they said.

No tears from the eyes,
Only the bleeding heart
That’s all left.

The silence,
The hidden emotions,
And, something inside me is broken.

A soul with mixed emotions,
Occupying the skulls
Just to continue living this endless life

And begging God to bring lights,
feeding the spirit’s craving emotion.
