He wasn't out of place

Just out of time

Playing for those long gone

And unseen

Clothes fluttering in a breeze gone by

Lips delivering music

Inaudible to the living

He wasn't out of place

Just out of time.
Today I went to Caernarfon Castle and was surprised to see a bagpipe player outside but when I looked back he had disappeared with no where to go.  Only when I got home did I discover that Welsh bagpipe players have been in existence since the fourth century.

I  walked  under  clear  blue  skies.
My  feet  making  footprints  in  the  golden  sands.

I  shaded  my  eyes  and  peered  across.
At  inky-blue  mountains  stretching
Endlessly  beyond  the  vast
Expanse  of  water.

Seashells  scattered  at  random
Lay  embedded  in  the  soft  sand
Showing  off  many  beautiful  colors

I  sat  for  awhile  and  dozed  fitfully
Listening  to  the  soft  murmuring
Of  the  gentle  incoming  tide.

The  tranquillity  was  finally
Interrupted  by  an  excited
Yell  from  a  small  boy  fisherman
Who  had  hooked  a  minnow.

As  it  grew  cold  I  walked  on
With  a  clear  and  refreshed  mind.

You will meet clouds of people
Who enjoy you superficially
Give you moments of forgettable memories

You will meet stars of people
Who shine bright in your life
Touch your soul
Share their sparkle
And inspire you to be more

But If you open yourself to our universe

You may even meet the moon
Who will completely
Change your outlook on life
Who will light up your soul
Share her elegance
Reflect her vision
And feed your spirit

It takes more guts and integrity
to be silent when you know
that you're in the right.

I'm not conceding out of cowardace
I give up for the sake of peace.

lakeside at Dawn
My reflection grew long in placid waters
Nellie sunshine forsook the chill of morning
I became an artist without need of brush or manmade color
Painting the precipice of Heaven with each determined view*....

despite cloudy weather and stormy seas
despite the malice of my  hidden enemies
the sneers and chuckles of silent assassins
lurking in the shadows of all my mishaps
my nascent spirit came shining through
timid and shy at first like a slice of moon
then in a huge roar mightier than the lion's
warmer than the sun breaking through cloud
and there i was, one bright and happy day
in triumph even when they willed it not
This is a poem for everyone struggling against the odds

in the sea of fate a journey to make
a path of life destiny doth take
the soul is a ship that sail
heart a compass never to fail
storms of pain doth try to drown
Its destination awaits a crown
without care tis a race we run
moments do we stop to wonder the life under sun
for every heart hath a destiny to live
If love be gone the heart hath none to give
