Spring, how gracious is your name,
full of light and life and colour.
Songbirds in their woodland nests
emerge and sing, feeding their
chicks or teaching them to fly
The coat of white has become a
soft, healthy green.
At the sound of her sweet laugh,
swallowtails, each a shade of
a rainbow, flutter around her and
into the distant glades.
Her olive skin drinks in the gentle
sunlight, her pink silks ***** around
her small ******* and hips, her
bare feet crushing the grass.
She twirls, her arms outstretched.
With the jingle of her bracelets,
a warm breeze passes.
A flick of her brown curls,
flowers burst into the bloom
from the earth, filling the air
with their sweetness.
A snap of her slender fingers,
the clouds split in two and
with her gaze from her emerald
eyes, there is no discord;
harmony in the air.
Harmony everywhere...
'Hear me, Sisters,' she chimes,
'Hear it all, hear the cheer of Spring!'

Enjoy the song of Spring!
One more season to go now! ^-^

The fall of colours
Every fallen leaf ablaze
Harvest mixed with sleet
One more freeverse to go, Autumn! ^-^
Sorry for not posting as much,
headache came back so my vision is blurring in and out of focus...
The final freeverse is on the way! ^^

Lily
“But what about all the things you told me?”
He asked her, quietly, his voice a faint, timid whisper,
More afraid of the answer than the question.
She stares motionless, not trusting her voice,
Knowing it will betray her... like before.
“You said you’d stay with me forever.”
A single tear rolled down her cheek,
As silent as the stars above, yet as loud as a rushing waterfall.
“You said we’d have a family together, a home.”
She was forced to sit down on the plush loveseat,
An ironic backdrop to the turmoil that was slowly unfolding.
“You said I was your one and only.”
She notices the trembling in his voice,
The soft, quivering whimper, much like a puppy,
That betrays he is close to tears.
“Your forever and always.”
She can hardly hear him, so she leans in closer,
Gazing into his watery eyes, swimming with honest tears.
“You said you had written my name on your heart.”
Mustering her strength, courage, and will, she responds:
“Only in pencil.”

Traveler
If I were the monster
Under your bed
Restlessly awaiting
Your attempt at rest
I would insist
Your fears be met
Silently plotting
To make your sheets wet

As chill bumps climb
Down your **** spine
I'd sense you were one
Of the sleepy kind
As short hair *****
On the small of your neck
Let go and just connect
You're feeling fearfully fine
My claws rip into your dreams
Heavenly Hell's ecstasy
Is what you'll scream
If you make your monster me!

Don't keep your eye so focused
on soaring higher and higher
that you forget the ground

Nurture the soil
See that it stays rich and hale
But most importantly,
stay close to your roots

There is still pleasure and reward
for tending to the small details

As hard as it can be,
as draining, as annoying,
In the end it will sprout and
make your garden all the
more beautiful
There is beauty and energy in finer details when it comes to any craft we hold dear. It's best to do what you love for the soul, the sale comes next.
Too bad few people understand that...
Anyway, I'll be back tomorrow! ^-^
Night, y'all!

Medusa
holy grail might have been
chalice, a woman's cup
challenge, for to save
her love

knight templars might have been
reporters with long zoom lenses
watching guinnie & lance
cavort about on a stone

none who were not there can touch
beauty, knowledge, fate,
legend leaves tracks for more to follow
let lovers follow us

it was my moment in the sun
my shining nothing conflicting
inside my head were the pure
chords of ethereal air

breathing in rhyme & circular riffs
as if entirely upon harps
& flutes

sun, it's never too late
moon, give it up

united we shall be

universe is bigger than this love
but galaxy?

may in fact collapse
entire, & strand us all
with empty hands

aching hearts
mouths who never said it
to you but then again

you
always
knew
#universe #galaxy #hearts
