Crowds gather in the waiting train
Kids fidgeting
Mothers panicking
Man with eyes of steel
glares at me from the opposite seat
Suddenly the train lurches forward
quickly gathering speed
All the tension seems to lift
Kids settle down
Mothers look out of the window
Man opposite puts his head back
and closes his eyes
Yes, the journey has now begun

It may be just a Picasso
blue period
I’m going through.

Or maybe it’s only
Winter’s darkness
not letting the clouds part
for the light of the Moon.

Why am I so sad at heart
whenever I write of you,
my woman of sorrow?

You, wrapped in your robe
like a blue, blue Picasso.

.
I could kiss you through the words of a rhyme,
letters delivered with tender exquisite affection,
each syllable a moisture drop on delicate lips,
velvet verse licking porcelain, tasting perfection.

Stanzas saturated with the metaphors of love,
dripping salaciously upon your excited sighs,
I kiss your lips through the words of a rhyme
as they glisten like a jewel between your thighs.

Keep distance, the Snail said,
I don't feel safe with humans around
and my pace makes me so vulnerable.

He took a deep breath and added,
do you ever feel my toil
to move from place to place
while the winds blow in gusts
and the world passes by like a storm?

My minutes tick like your hours
and hours days
as I climb the mountains of walls
cover furlongs of ground
rest and restart
never really knowing
where the path ends.

And you only add to my woes.

Your prank of a kick
rolls me back and down
all the way
to beyond from where I began.

A teardrop gathered in his opal eyes.

But it really doesn't matter,
a smile broke through the tears,

I see with all your pace
you're so far from happiness.

All that you have ever known
all that you have ever been

Suddenly becomes unknown

as the reality lurks in

Darkness was too appealing
for the empty soul I own
Lil bird, who lost her home, before her eyes in a storm
"Hey lil bird fly away home
The house is on fire
Children are alone"

Lady Grey
Red is rage
It’s the blood on the floor
The haze in your eyes
The words you spit through your tight face

But red is also passion
The burning fire that keeps us truly alive
The fierce desire for more
For better

The fire swirled against you
That passion was consumed by your conquest
And we burnt out
Like the blackened matches we are
Colors are often associated with emotions
Merciless
Pitiless
Selfish
And
Inconsiderate

Egotistical
Egocentrical
Self-absorbed
And
Ignorant

Thank you
For showing me
Exactly what I never want to be

We are complete opposites -
There's such a big difference
Between you and me!

By Lady R.F. (C)2018
There's a lesson to be learned in everyone and everything.  Good and bad.
Grateful still. Thank you, to all my teachers.
A blessing in everything!
She was never really gonna be understood
and that's something she came to understand
I can't wait. ...to be sane
I can't wait. ...to end this pain
I can't wait. .....till you are free
I can't wait. ....till you're home with me

in our time
we think we know
most animals of the world
from films and videos

yet
seeing
an echidna come out of the underbrush
about to cross the road
but then
    looking at all the cameras
deciding to quietly go back home for a while

watching
a young humpback whale
launch her tons out of the sea
in the sheer joy of breaching
falling back in a white splash
that sends your boat rocking

feeling
the hard back of a wombat
under its thick coat of hair
the soft fur of a koala
the cool skin of a blue-tongued lizard

feeding
a wallaby whose sharp claws
tenderly hold your hand
so that the food
does not go away too soon

hearing
the swelling maniacal laughter
     of a flock of kookaburras
a pied butcherbird‘s
     unbelievably melodious call

you become aware
they are living beings
not just images on the screen

and the little hairs
on the back of your neck
    rise
    in shock and awe
of life‘s beauty
