we can't erase what is already on a canvas
but we can always paint over it
it seems as though someone is passing around info about me getting in trouble with the law over seven years ago. i am not proud of it, but i own my actions. i paid my debt by serving six months in jail, as well as taking a good beating for it. the past paints the future, and experiences change our lives. i am a different person now, and i can't dwell on the past. if others want to, that's fine.

i am the stone that is thrown
that hits the water
causing a ripple
a tiny wave
across a giant ocean
touching shore
washing over tiny particles
molecules and micro-organisms
drowning some
bringing life to others
i wrote this for the singer Daniel Mustard

That leadeth the way;
She's the prayer
By which I pray.

listen -
hear no sound, feel
only wind on its way, ghostly
nothings, but hush to sharp wings
of ocean birds so fraying as they cut
the sky, shuttle to fairways, far aways,
in plaintive cries, i hear what they say,
sailing into the jeweled skylights, but i
am only weight of air, still on ground,
i mumble out, sidle the bone tides
that roll to land, grains of clarity,
i am mist and tear, a world
of hollow, i am that sound -
of ocean in a shell.

i.

Without her I
Am naught;
With her
I am all.

ii.

Without her I
Am lost;
With her
I am found.

iii.

Without her I
Am in mine grave;
With her, I am free
Not a slave.

iv.

Without her I
Am in peril;
With her
I canst seeith, speaketh, breatheth, liveth on her holy water.

seeing how self centered i am
means i'm more self centered than I thought
i find myself buying my words
then i give away the words i bought

poking the monster that lives inside
then loving the monster i fought
i find myself catching a beast
then releasing the beast that i caught

i guess that's just the way i am
i try to learn what can't be taught
i just bring my heart and my words
then i give away the words i brought

Im living, im alive
I'm fearless, with her by mine side.

I seeith all
Through her eye's.

With her i seeith god and christ
With her im given, eternal life.

I'm marveling
Bowing to mine feet.

Mine brow looketh toward's her
Tear's drop on knee's.

Not tear's of sorrow
Not shedding water from pain.

These art tear's
Because all of mine year's.

I'll be soo happy living life with her
Eternally.

So graced i am
O',so graced.

Given to me, was mine Messiah's own queen
messenger seraphim, to mankind, to the human race.

And whilst i first got a taste of her amour
I'm stuck, im ******, into her chalice of asian shore's.

i have never been sophisticated
sophistication just never related
relative to everything i hated
hatred of the over-stated

i have never been materialistic
materialism isn't a characteristic
characterized by a mind that's realistic
realize, i am not hedonistic

i never gave a **** about tradition
traditional is subject to my definition
defined by my own composition
composed of passion and ambition
