Let us write our stories
So that when the sands of our time
Get swept into the eternal sea
We shall remain in the hearts of men

beth fwoah dream
it is summer and even the grasses
start to wither in the dry heat.

i am broken like
an old iron gate,
i have ornate scrolls and twisting
roses.

in the long, hot hours,
the sea roars softly
and i long for you
wrapped into the hollows of the sun.

little pieces of me gathered into
you scattered like a
blue sky.

little pieces and i know i am only
of fragments and love.

sentinel, you grow in peace
you who have seen war
you saw the native people
killed off by the score
you continue on your way
the source of tale and lore
you have a heart
that will not cease
for a hundred years or more

this is the great saguaro
he scrapes the sky with arms
flung up to the heavens
though huge you do no harm
you have thorns aplenty
but also have your charms
you will watch forevermore
ever sounding the alarm

The greatest beauty in the
Sonoran desert is the
saguaro cactus
It takes hundereds of years
for these to form arms

They have lovely white crowns
of flowers in the spring
and their fruit is harvested annually
by native people who drink their
potent wine for religious ceremonies

They are protected by law
but are shot at and
vandalized by people who
are beneath contempt

Humans
I need not necessarily
your flesh to multiply
but your brains to think rigorously, strategically
artfully a way
to tear down your Tower of Babel
painstakingly and indifferently built
from the bones and blood
of a few amongst your kind
now as my mercenaries be enslaved
suffer from undiagnosable symptom called
Murderous
On clock but not grid they gather
be summoned
by the cry of their ancestors' resentment
spill unto this Earth I breed
unto your downfall I feed
For I come in greater numbers
I am Legion
Recorded by geological strata, a highly advanced civilization was annihilated by a pandemic virus in a form failed to be predicted by its victims, turning healthy intelligent individuals to murderous ones who have the capacity to cover up their crimes, which allows them to slay many before being executed by their social system or their peer victims.
(2 interesting facts can be discovered from this translation of the testimony left by the virus "mastermind": 1. Its self consciousness exists in every and none of its copies, no matter the population. 2. it has no concept of time.)

"Feel so funny. . ."  Jerry Lee Lewis/The Big Booper; Chantilly Lace/jp Richardson, 1958.
Broken down more than I care to confess.
old roads and sweethearts of the moment the taste of bitter ends goes good with a bourbon and coke .
Blowing smoke rings across the room of some run down dive it's all part of just being me.

Tomorrow I will find good use for dark glasses and a  one time call.
I'll see you in a week sugar I'm doing fine and other well intended lies just part of the drive .

Some good laughs and better drugs does it ever grow old boys?
I cant say it does but I dam sure have to late to turn back now.
A blues chord and some broken strings was it ever a choice for the gentle were never intended to understand one as perfectly wicked as me.

I been running taking shelter with whomever I can find .
Photographs of my thoughts like perfume that lingers only within my mind .

It's another journey ahead and some laughs between the vices yearn maybe it's just the urge to know we still feel a ******* thing at all are simply fuel to still make that page bleed .

Maybe you can share I have to many secrets so I guess I will just listen
with a drink in hand .
Moments last lifetimes cherish that place in which you can confide.
As the arts in the phases scattered cross dark corners and a shared embrace.

I have fallen from the mountain only to find myself on the other side again.

Watched friends fade and I still hold them true I drink with you even in your absence ****** the good will always keep my blind to the ****** up **** I no longer recall .

We run until the sunsets fade to repeat again .
Dust to bones forever the fool and always a fast friend.

I have survived it still I care to ignore the sign .
For that highway echo's something a promise can never truly deliver .

I'd stay here longer but  the devils always only seconds away.
Maybe one day I will stop or maybe just hang around long enough to stick him with the tab.

Cheers Gonz

The cold snow
fell upon the memories
and whited out the pain

The hungry wolf looks out
across the frozen tundra
and forgets his pain

Dreaming of a warm
summer rain
only to go out
and **** again

Knowing inside
is trapped
the lamb
in wolf clothing

Kody dibble
Crimson births a isometric mind,
Crystal vases made of wood and pine,
Onyx stones of foulest find,
Like wallowing trees of you and I

There lies rubies of a nature so far,
There lies diamonds made of blood and coal,

The whole purpose of creativity
Is divinity in twinned

Forget I and remember He,
The Holy image of life
That was always suppose to be
Yep love laugh live

CA Guilfoyle
Just lying on the couch and being happy.
Only humming a little, the quiet sound in the head.
Trouble is busy elsewhere at the moment, it has
so much to do in the world.

People who might judge are mostly asleep; they can't
monitor you all the time, and sometimes they forget.
When dawn flows over the hedge you can
get up and act busy.

Little corners like this, pieces of Heaven
left lying around, can be picked up and saved.
People won't even see that you have them,
they are so light and easy to hide.

Later in the day you can act like the others.
You can shake your head. You can frown.
