Broken Poetry

Hello.
I am the trending poem.
you see me and I make you feel alive
so you like me and re-post me
then you leave me alone to die.
Hello,
I am your forgotten lines.
you created me with a careful love
                                                          and decisive rhymes
and then to the bottom of your page I'm shoved.
Hello
I am forgotten, alone and unloved
a faded smile a broken dove
                                               I once was beautiful, touching.
now, I've been replaced, I'm nothing.
It's hard here on the ground floor, surrounded by the street.
The scenery a still-frame, a cell set to repeat.
But I don't see your colors now, that patch of blue's gone gray
I hear your laugh cut through the crash of just another day
Time, again, finds us alone...
in the crushing nothingness of the crowds
I just want it to be gone
Want to shed my shadows among the clouds

It's quiet here in the recent past, reliving a silent beat,
An echo too weak to distinguish, yet still moving the Earth beneath my feet.
Still the subtlety's hard to decipher, the nuance is lost in the stroke
I numb any phantoms that linger, the world is cloud of smoke.
And time and again, it pulls me through
Running headfirst into hell.
Full circle, it seems, in whatever I do
Stopping just this side of well.

It's fleeting here in so-called prime of this distraction known as living
And I haven't asked for more than I have, but I'm taking what they're giving.
A single spark in the midst of a fire doesn't seem to warm the soul
But that same small flame can change the game if you add a little coal
We're hardened now, by time and heat
The pressure's always on
But maybe, when our time's complete
We'll be diamonds before we're gone.

here’s my goodbye note to you
i thought you were my ray of sunshine but all you saw in me was the color blue.

1.
Winter holds no pleasure
When life lay dying
Or merely dormant sleeping
Plants fall, withering away
From cold and bitter frost
Which bites viciously at my flesh
Numbness creeps upon my limb
Congestion fills my lungs
Fever plagues my flesh
A limbo between life and death
White powder like, water crystals
Fall and scatter across the landscape
Blizzards blinding me with their fury
2.
Cold winters touch
White powdered death
Smothering the earth
Brown grass dead or dying
Life has been forgotten
The spring and summer ease
Of living now becomes
A harsh tribute to survival
Baby’s death first and last breaths
Stillness settles upon their limbs
Mothers cry while father work
Hunting for any vestiges of
Food or firewood

Those who escape hell,
however, never talk about it,
and nothing much
bothers them after that.

{Set I: Brandon}
Have you ever fell apart?
She told me that I wasn't enough
Then she left me with a broken heart
She fooled me twice and it was all my fault
She cut too deep and she left me scarred
There's too many thoughts skating across my brain
I used every kind of Bleach to get rid of your stain
Your actions drained my body and soul
Life is a drink that keeps pouring, so I'm not null
In my story, one person ****-joyed the streak
Crystalia breathed life into me
She opened my crusted eyes so I could see
She deserves the universe, but I am just a star
She's that Northern Star that can be way too far
I have never been so caught off guard
I have never caught feelings this hard
The collision is harder than a Fireball that I drunk
With its flames burning my sails as I sunk
She used Nature's heart to piece together my puzzle
We've swam through Hell and I need to hustle
This is a dedication poem to a certain somebody who was there for me when I really needed comfort and support. Those two things will take you a long way. Never forget the genuine.

I can't stop
thinking about
raindrops
on roses
how the perfectly round
droplets shine
and how they look
like diamonds
backed by an elegant
red dress
I can't stop
thinking about
the smell
of the rain
with the perfume
of the flower
and I can't stop
being happy.
