“Why do I love” You, Sir?
Because—
The Wind does not require the Grass
To answer—Wherefore when He pass
She cannot keep Her place.

Because He knows—and
Do not You—
And We know not—
Enough for Us
The Wisdom it be so—

The Lightning—never asked an Eye
Wherefore it shut—when He was by—
Because He knows it cannot speak—
And reasons not contained—
—Of Talk—
There be—preferred by Daintier Folk—

The Sunrise—Sire—compelleth Me—
Because He’s Sunrise—and I see—
Therefore—Then—
I love Thee—

I've got your name
I've got your taste
I've got your fumes
Inside my rib cage

I've got your trembling lips
very close to me
My hands on your unsteady hips
The way you grove to the melody
makes me lose the ground I keep

I've got your eyes
I've got your **** stare
I've got your hypnotic glare
I've got you beyond compare

Because
Smiles are reserved
for days
that are not you
                                                              And
Hence
I will wear
My head
Like leaves on a fence
                                                                           Yet
If your wish
I will close myself
like a poem
unfinished
                                                                                     I
Proclaim myself
The lines unwritten
Thought unwilling
Love unrequited
                                                                                            Bleed
                                                                                                          !

Scars
I wouldn't dare say
the night has a void space
for if truth flies in open flame
and hope is a river unclaimed
the night will surely remain the same
untouched
Scars

The sun stops for no one ( nor does the river flow over hill to dance for on one)

The trees, they shake not for my amusement,
I do the same not for their enjoyment.

If the shade you're running to,
Has no place in it for you.
What are you to do?

If the light that you're running fro
Decides to leave you to the light you can't shade fro — the light inside you —
What are you to do?

Broken things
Broken names
If you brake the sky
The world won't mend.

What else to do?
What else to prove?
I bleed myself,
To feed you.

Broken sound
Broken mirror
Broken hearts
On a counter top.

Secrets like mists
Lies are king
I've got mine to keep
I've got mind to keep.

a song on my mind
like a bird in the air
with no inception
intentions unclear
with no end - the sky of dirt road
the open space like a vehicle on the go
and it goes and rolls
through leaves unknown

i say it is so
and my vibrations echo
the mountains know my meaning
the voice beneath the words I’m speaking
but the mist glows my insecurities and binds my visions
my reservations for bed
my hand on your head
like a firefly the light comes and goes
and it goes and rolls
through hills and meadows

i say that I’m gone and i stay so
they see my soul in the sky -  my name they cry
above the mist clear
the fumes reek of fear
and i swear
i feel lonesome up here
and i won’t shed a tear
because i know the rain is near
And I hear Whitman in the air
and the mist will soon disappear
And the sky will be clear
this is something new i've been working on. it is definitely a different tone from my other works. i hope you liked it.
