when moon rise,
      you will shine
      be who you are
      and you will shine
Can you hear it?
Cup your hands, listen.
Isn't it beautiful?
Wait... you can't hear it?
Here, close your eyes.
Concentrate on nothing.
Let your mind go blank.
Take a deep breathe.
Let all of your worries go.
Now do you hear it?
Do you hear the silence?
Good, remember this sound.

Remember it when you get overwhelmed.
Remember it when you feel alone.
Remember it when you feel out of control.
Remember it to set you free from your mind.
Shhh. Be silent and be free.

You blamed me for keeping you like an animal caged
But honey didn't you see the stars that traced every bar in beige?
I'd really recommend you to take in consideration different symbolisms of the words in order to get a wider view of what I am trying to portray in this poem. Further discussion is encouraged.
when the world ended,
i fell to the floor,
tears rolling down,
the future tore.

heart in my throat,
my jaw felt weak,
you held me tight,
you kissed my cheek.

when the world ended,
your hand on mine,
softly caress,
fingers entwined.

no whispered words,
you let me be,
your quiet strength,
meant the world to me.

And on that day, when the world ended,
you held my hand,
you stayed with me,
you made me see,
my world could be...
mended...
again...
someday.

isn’t it funny
my dreams and thoughts of you
have given me more

7 SINS

sloth
slouch on the couch
idly waste the time
tomorrow will always arrive

lust
because there is just
an insatiable thirst
lock the door first

gluttony
all of us would agree
that food is sacred
no one's satisfied until fed

wrath
take an anger bath
soak in its vengeance
until the last dance

pride
it is your guide
to stand on the mountain high
stepping unto others 'til they die

envy
because you don't wanna see
what you do not possess
take it; claim it; in every possible ways

greed
giving is not your deed
why, if you can horde
you'll be the master—the lord

because everyone is guilty
of the seven sins so deadly
you can deny it, but then quietly
your guilt eats you, painful and slowly
I always overthink
Leaving permanent ink
One thought
Next another
Each and every other
The constant annoying utter
The room is large and
paint is peeling,
from panelled walls
and alcoved ceilings.
An old woman is buried
in a damp chair.
A warm smell of ****
yellow air.

She does not turn but
speaks clearly:
"Americo, do you remember
your blossoming power?
The whole world despised it
but I loved you dearly.
My wanton child-
Red in matricide,
white in supremacy
and blue here now,
in your rosewood seat"

Americo laughs briskly
at Britannia's slight.
But they are both disturbed
and chilled by the sight,
of Romulus' freshly starched sheets
and all his leafy golden crowns
in a tied black bag
beside the door.
