Though the days still carry our
Memories of Summer, nights
Now promise elseness.

Inside, parts of my confused
Self long for icy blue skies,
Air so crisp you can

Crunch it between your
Teeth and your love
For Norway.

Other parts long for the
Midsummer sun of a body
Chasing anything arctic

Away with the swift brush
Of a slim hand finding
A face it loves

In the dark. Arctic. Ice blood.
Snow flesh. Wanting nothing;
None closer than

Outside.
I don't want to love right now.
Just to get snowed in alone,

Hoping for the sound of
A shovel, yet wishing it would
Miss my heart

By the breadth of a hairline
Fracture in
Something frozen

**** well
Nearly solid, yet
Breathing;

Basking in
Sub-zero
Solitude.
Finding the love of your life.
Never thinking of their true selves.
Never seeing the hidden knife.
Only seeing ourselves.

Never acknowledge the bad side
After everything you’ve done.
I’m no longer the one to decide.
I’m no longer allowed to have fun.

Smiles turns to cries.
Minds turns to stone.
Eyes turns to ice.
We’re all just another clone.

You can't hide the truth from me.
I’ve known it all along.
But it’s too late to be free.
I can no longer be strong.

You came to my house to say goodbye.
Left a present of our memories with a bad smell.
I knew everything was just a lie.
The only thing you gave me were dead flowers from hell.
I am on the site now
To call for prayer & praise!
My father's in the woods again
In hospital for days
I'm trying to be strong now
But feel a little dazed
I need the Holy Spirit
With Him I'm unfazed

My dad is in a lot of pain
He's blind in the right eye
Something has gone very wrong
As yet we don't know why
He is very stoic
But something's gone awry
He's 91, a veteran
A real stand-up guy

They don't want optic surgery
As he's so elderly
There must be a solution but
We don't know what it could be!
They may have to put him under
Danger to a high degree
They'll replace the cornea
So again he'll see!

This, and so much more in life
Causes us to plod
But there is One to help us
Him I will applaud!
He is ever faithful...

*Jesus Christ our GOD!
I'm not going to be on site again for a while. I will try to read later today, but I'm calling on a lot of people to pray for my father. He's in the hospital again, with tremendous pain in his right eye. This man is stoic... hardly ever complains. So his eye must really hurt!

I'm asking for prayers and good thoughts again... and praise for the Most High! He alone holds the solution! Thank you!

Flushed and warm.
The kind of breathless you get when a
   butterfly from your belly flutters
      onto your heart.

And then it starts -
A little squeeze on your heart,
a bigger tug on your smile.
The sprinkles in your laughter harmonize
with the beat of his heart.

He breathes through your whispers
which creak the bed though you try
      not to wake him.
But he smiles anyway -
you can hear it through the dark.

For once you were touched
like you deserved to be,
by sparkling gold,
by soft star dust
that caressed you in your sleep.
After all that darkness
you could’ve never seen the menace of light,
you only wanted to escape a fate
that did you no justice.

Idolizing drugs as if it's what sustains you
While I'm worshipping love contained in a statue.
I painted your face upon the cracked stone,
Hoping your grace could make me whole,
Again, my goddess crumbles at my feet.
Stolen from me by the shadows deceit.
Hollow was the ground upon which we built,
Our home was a grave held up by rotting stilts,
Twas only a matter of time before collapse,
Foretold by the stars, prophecies own map...
Still, I fought for you, to rip off the mask
Your grasp on my heart faltered,
We weren't meant to last.
To let you go, meant to shatter like glass
So here I am, scattered shards, lost in the sand.
The pieces cut my hands, I don't remember who I am.
Blood smears the reflections. I don't understand,
The message was clear before fears lead you astray
Now Death has come, a headstone is all that remains.

Echoing through my heart
The beat of the drums
Pounding louder
Filling my lungs with ecstasy

Passion burning
Thy turmoil spilling
Overflowing the cup
Life is bliss

The echos grow louder
Sparking the candle
Igniting the flame
And sending us higher

Mellow does the beats flow
The drums go silent
Life stands still
The darkness sets in

Silence fills the air
The fountain of life
Flowing waters of gold
Cease to exist
