Feel the blood rushing into and out of your body
While you cling on to a reality that has become obselete
To a place where only harm can come to those you love and yourself.
Like you are being skull-****** to death by your best friend.

What would that do to someone like you?
Would you imagine it to bring pleasure of some kind?
Like a rat trapped in a cage, barely nibbling pieces of cheese in the corner.
While eyes bulging, awaiting the next attack.

Struck by lightening of another kind altogether
The kind that leaves scars and are misinterpreted as happiness
Just more side-tracking and never completely changing
Into who I want to be.
Who I really am.
Sometimes I'm so lonely and other times so suffocated.

Lover you asked me,
"How.... how much do you love me?"
Well, I would give every breath left in my body, just to make you happy
Self sacrifice
That's how much I love you
it's kind of beautiful
the rorschach
pattern of milk
on my *******
the matching pair
of dark wet stains
that could just
as easily be
sweat
tears
or a gathering
of the filth
from too many years
spent wearing
an old t-shirt

he was beautiful
too
thick, full lips
I would have loved
to kiss
and they turned
down
like a bow
to match his mama
a pucker so sweet
it will surely
be missed

a three-part
nose like
his dad
resting on cheeks
that are too big
for his tiny
sweet face
but he gets
that from me
so i guess
it's ok

long fingers
on big hands
that looked strong
like his dad
and short toes
like me again
because I
suppose
the genes
of two people
in love just
happen to combine
in a perfect half
even when
the result
can never be
whole
Tell me your story,

Traverse your fact and fiction,

Please, I will listen.

Cover to cover,

I don’t want anything more,

who are you, really.

I want to hear it,

I won’t say a word, honest.

be you, who you are.
Once upon a time,
there was a girl who drank the moon
gurgled and guzzled until it filled her,
moonlight shimmering through her skin
and stardust lingering in her veins
she was waxing and waning
and the tides followed her small feet,
every month she shrunk into herself
before being born anew
glorious and whole and bright
bright enough to rival the sun
and how the sun loved her so,
his gaze warmed her back every day of her life
kissing her softly as she grew into the silver
that was her skin, her hair, her eyes
and how the night welcomed her
she could hear stars whispering
see adoration in every glimmer
the girl grew and grew, and the silver shone
and she longed for her sun, his warmth
and for the stars, her friends
every night she would shine
she could light up the world with that shine
white and silver and brilliant
she was love incarnate
and so
was loved in return
Down the dusty road,
in tattered rags,
He came,
weary,
wilted,
and
withered.

Body bent with age,
bones sticking out of the flabby skin,
with a tremor
running down his limbs,
and with expectant eyes,
He waited at my doorstep.
No words came out from pursed lips
But,
in mute language
begged for alms.

I held his shrivelled hand,
helped him ascend the steps.
Like a child obeying it’s Elder
He sat on a chair in the patio.

The sumptuous fare, served before,
he surveyed with eyes
bulging out in utter disbelief,
and greedily devoured
every bit of morsel.

A rare gleam lighted up his face.
With hands folded in benison
He stood up and silently took leave.

I watched him stumble
along the country track
and fade away in the distance.

Ripples of joy stirred my mind
in ever widening circles
as, a pebble idly tossed
cause ripples in still waters
................
Over a random act
of kindness
idly tossed.......
Love is the cardinal of all virtues…. But love has many shades! Next to Love, comes Compassion…. It is love plus empathy….. ! I believe that even the Scripture minus compassion is zero.
This is a true story…. ! Through such small acts of kindness, the giver and the receiver derive some joy…As an average human being, I am not powerful enough to carry out heroic acts to better myself and the world around
I feel that if one has compassion, he/she cannot hurt anyone deliberately!

She was unique
that I know for sure.
She believed
there was no such place called hell.
But heaven existed
in every moonbeam that blossom.

She thought that
ice cream was for anytime.
She believed in
smiling and laughing.
And said frowns
were a crazy thing.

She believed in
making love,
oh boy!
Did she ever believe
in making love.

Then one magnificent
unbelievable day
She gave all her love to me.
She said let's fly
together for always.

I said that I could not fly.
But she said,
of course, you can fly silly.
Taking my hand in hers
We flew high
above the mountains.
Alongside the eagles.

In a place
where only true lovers
could breathe
the pure rarified air.
Now that's being in love
LOL
