A man lost his leg in a dark spell
and a dinner plate sits in a dry spot
30 years of love soaked lung choked,
"I can't live without my eyes" life!
It's a tied or be tied world
a king prays in the morning
and stars connect his wishes
tasseled, sparkle, with
blood of shaking soft hands

A man lost his leg in a dark spell
a caravan station unfolds its carpet
a pegged ***** grinds for metal
and a sandpaper shoe floats in the creek
a bluejay whispers to the soil
and a soul catches an eye
hunger taken and a spirit flies
to morphing masses and flowing skies
flowing skies

A man lost his leg in a dark spell
as a green legged woman fell into the moon
a clasp of a watch was finally won
with fevered letters and hammered guns
filtered suns
filtered suns

The red boar sits on the shelf
Can your only window be secure?
The red boar only hates itself
Can your only window be secure?

Spider
and Beetle
Sun and Moon
Sun and Moon
Sun and Moon
Tired
and feeble
Sun and Moon
Sun and Moon
Sun and Moon
Sun and Moon
Spider

My feet straighten out as I walk up the road
A typha in my left palm and a worn warm stone
Sentimental?
Or just the dust of petals in my mind?
I just passed a great big pine
What is mine? Is that mine?
A great fine diner is up ahead;
entrance of town and once my homestead with
a paint chipped door schedule written in lead
Peering through the window
There's no breeze though
but the lights glow
but the plants grow
How can I know?
What do I know
The small bell dings and I crash back
The legs walk in let the door smack
I grab my chest and eyes wet my chin
When did the shudder begin?
Felt
Felt a soft red cloth wipe my cheek
Is it her or is it what they think?
a memory
it can be
and certainly hurts
like a memory
A sip from a coffee
she blows on it softly
a snapping blink in the glass
whispering with moments that pass
as much as I want to try to be

I woke up in a glade of gray
Littered fingers and threads of grass flay
Moistened hair, a dampened glare
An enameled heart that stings
Scattered birds have yet to sing
Will it ever matter?
The soft brown dirt pushes down as I rise up
The light rain has filled my old tin cup
Ridges rusted and my eyes are dusted
My wrist-watch is broken and can't be trusted
Fire flies in a jar, they won't get far
lighted my night as my cigarettes tarred
my weakened lungs but elevated my strung-
out manners
It's getting lighter as my skin gets tighter
The clouds shift as the sun gets brighter
I miss the moon, but I know that soon
the day will pass but I won't see noon
How blue
Blue

They will not be heard
with their many words
Don't think like them
They will not be heard
with their many words
Repetition
of their assumption
Jesus is not against
repetition
My father
let me pass
as you will
Men keep watch!
Don't think like them
Their flesh is weak
They will not be heard
Meaningless repetition
Many words
They will not be heard
Thorn in the flesh
*** does not have a one prayer
only rule
Dear ***
I can never say that again
Jesus is talking about
hearts
that we badger ***!
Pagans!
Ten thousand!
My Mary
Our fathers
Beads on a chain
moving down the line
repetition
Leverage your words
to
move
***
Good gifts for his children
With many words
They will not be heard

Is there a cloud under that tree?
Is there a cloud under that tree?
a small moth ***** its wings
it's in the cupboard
it's in the cupboard
a feeling sends a nerve to hover
and be strung out
a nerve sends a feeling to cover
and be shut out
Six legs clutched to dusty rosewood
eyes spread and eyes should
breathe kindly in life
Six legs clutched to dusty rosewood
eyes spread and eyes should
breathe kindly in life
Light
Glowing light
Pushes through a line
It pushes through the line
It's bright and it's close to mine
light
glowing light
closer but through my fingers
tighter but shadows linger through
this light
glowing light
a moth ***** its wings
