Can't go to heaven
One child is cold
Trigonometry
I'm far too old

Lies, Lies
"Listen!" She cries
Don't hang out with Satan

But Satan's a raven
Created by hands. Oh,
My body forever shaken
I captioned this “written during algebra.. got yelled at for not paying attention”

Don't **** the pheasant
As the cruel core can
keeping dinner all to himself

A hunter, a man, a driven idea
Has not eaten what is in the pan
With no material, a harsh life itself

A fib is spoken aloud from his lips
"I would never shoot that bird"
This bird is my friend, a part of me

Yet her wings make a blur to tasty to look at
without him saying the word
"Shoot" he shouts as I die
Somewhat derived from "Pheasant", by Sylvia Plath. Same symbolism's! © Sep '22, Lee

Rules can be a taking of love for one,
Ideas created by he on spread
Few have realized it can be such fun
Different is not a word we should dread
For no love is wrong even two the same
Happiness looking disparate on all
There is but only a true way to aim
One is short as the other is some tall
A time be amused with who has to choose
when stood at the turn of a hot and warm
How it is simply unfair just to lose
And to this scheme we are not to conform
Us being here should have meant to be free
Content on this world, we shouldn't have to plea

How can I have loans to pay,
when i can't even find a way,
to keep my guts from spilling out?

How can I save each bug,
So many small holes dug,
Where do I get little gravestones?
Struggling with life but I stop to save each bug

I asked if you recalled
the time in the snow
to mega bed you hauled
your bag and your speedo
Got there, you sprawled
said your back had a blow
Said the mushrooms you did
made your self-worth glow

You claim you're too busy though
I know you still care
but something warm fills me whole
not happiness, its unfair
How you once trudged through the snow
just to smell my hair

Walk home,
Trot home
No moonlight around the sky
Laces come loose
Balance you lose
lean on the rock wall to tie

Hold up the flashlight
Hold up your head
See there’s a snake leaning on your thumb
Shriek, scare the creature
Dads laugh, beware the creature
But now snakes make your heart thrum
Written about the first time I ever met a snake in an unexpected situation, before I befriended them. I was walking back from my aunts camper when I leaned on the wall to tie my shoe, after I felt something I put my small flashlight on it to see a garter snake. The handsome fella was leaning on my thumb, but I was startled, heart POUNDING. Nowadays Herpetology (The study of reptiles and amphibians) is a huge passion of mine - Lee

Come here unannounced
Pizza grease trapped in the seat
Say get in you ******* ***
You know I need to eat

Now In the tub I sit
Tears drip down my cheeks
You said If we ever had a kid
You’d only love it conditionally
