I am cradled in inescapable
darkness, kept alive by my perpetual
insanity. These clouded eyes and
purple skies hide the secrets of a lifetime;
hiding away in the shadows from my
own truths in order to free myself from
the lies I once told, the mistakes I once made,
yet there is no escape.

we were like the sand at our favorite beach
no matter how hard I tried to keep us from slipping through my fingers
I could never hold on tight enough
I still find little grains of you clinging to me
& no matter how many times I try and scrub them away
you're still stuck between my toes
& in my hair
sometimes I can feel you when I grit my teeth
you'd think after time these little pieces of you would fill up the holes you left in my heart
but that seems to be the one thing you left empty
when I swallow I swear i can feel you burning against the back of my throat
like saltwater
all the way down into my stomach
it tastes the same as they day you told me you never loved me
you would think by now I would have learned
you can't fill emptiness with more emptiness
& you can't keep sand from slipping from your fingers
but I still tried to do it anyway

I've always wanted to be an artist,
to be able to create,
to imagine a better way,
but nothing happened.

Then you appeared,
you gave me that inspiration
that sense of satisfaction
that every artist wished for.

You gave me colors
that I didn't know they exist,
You started to put order
you painted every corner.

I'm so glad you came into my life
you are that complement
that I've been waiting for.

My life, my heart stuck in your hands,
Waiting for love,waiting for you.
As time ticks by
and seasons fly.
My love for you will always grow,
When you are sad, think of me.
Perhaps my image will make you laugh.
Don't cry my  love,
I am right here.
But, if I were to die,
Lay a forget-me-not in my place.
And never cry,
it would break my heart.
For death will never do us part.
