Please don’t leave those bruises on my thighs,
for me to look on fondly when you’re gone.

I wrote fantasies and I wrote about sleep
I wrote about demons and
how they danced around a fire in my dreams
I wrote about skeletons in my closet that suffocated me
I wrote about monsters that I rolled around with
In my sheets and when “I love you”
Used to sound sweet
I wrote until my brain stopped flooding and my fingertips began to bleed

Poetry
       i wrote until it
              Finally
          Became easier to
Breathe

World
Unhabitable;

my job is swallowing

happiness

is not what i've been experiencing
today

don't end your life my man

you're here
to stay
Today is a good day.

(This phrase is my trademark. I have to tell it to myself continously. Would like to spread a more positive vibe, but my poetry has to be honest. Don't wanna lie to myself.)

You were the love of my life
So bright
Such a beautiful light
You were important to me
Can't you see
You'll only ever be
The love of my life

you don't know joe
you don't know sue
what's going to be:

let me tell you:
some human stew
ain't nothing new
to dem creatures

you're just a feature
a gimmick
some meat
has to be in it
Today be a good day. Haha.

but you see -
she has
a tendency
to be silent
when it gets
real loud
inside her head.
