Behind the rude girl,
   There is a girl,
       With a soft heart,
            Who trusted,
                 EVERYONE,
Once upon a time.......
Just don't judge people without knowing them or their history.
Because may time the people who are hurt so bad o er and over tend to become rude and cold
Their true self might be so beautiful that u may fall in love
They have been through so much in life that  they are so closed and reserved.
Just give them a chance
They are sitting in there , in a dark room facing the walls and crying,  that they have forgotten what light is.
All they need is a hand to hold , an ear which listens and a person who guides them back to light, to life....

Woke up,
Tripped down,
Scrapped my knee on the way to the ground,

No trace of blood,
No trace of blood,

Another victim of the dark,
Scared to walk into the light,
Scared to put down the knife,
Scared to know he was never right,

No trace of blood,
No trace of blood,

The night before? Hiding.
The day before? Running.
The week before? Crying.
The month before? Shaking.

No trace of blood,
No trace of blood,

Too many words in one head,
Too many thoughts driving to madness
Filling up and emptying away,
Unable to escape as the fire consumes,

No trace of blood,
No trace of blood,

One last day before the darkness,
Nothing more noticeable then the silence of voices,
All awaiting what's next,
All watching, as I lay in the pool that gathers.

No trace of blood,
No trace...

Hiding the hurt, hiding the pain
Hiding the tears that fall like rain.
Saying l'm fine; l'm anything but.
This ache in my soul rips at my gut.
My skin is on fire, I burn from within.
The calm on my face
is an ongoing sin.
The world must stay out,
I've built up a wall.
My fragile lie will collapse
should it ever fall
Loneliness consumes me,
It eats away the years
Until my life is swallowed
by unending fears.
Waiting for someone to see
I wear a mask
And care enough to remove it,
Is that too much to ask?

Her
i hope one day
if not soon
you see that
her and i
do not have the same
hair color
skin color
eye color

my name is mine
and hers is hers
we are different sizes
we have different voices
my history is more than a few
textbooks you receive throughout high school
where hers is just a chapter

she is easy you see
and me
well i am complicated
i am the destruction left in the wake
of when a hurricane and tsunami meet

please stay
even though i am rough
but know
i am not her
i am me

She Writes
She can’t tell who will leave
and who will stay.
Instead she chooses
To push them all away.

Being vulnerable
Is her greatest fear.
Her heart is too guarded
To let someone near.

So scared to be loved
Afraid to trust.
If she is broken again
She may crumble to dust.

You see,
I may come off as strong,
But the problem with being "the strong one",
The one who always offers a hand to everyone,
Is that, t have no one to hold mine.

They think I don't need anyone,
They think I have no problems, no worries,

BUT,
even I fall asleep crying,
And say nothing's wrong,

Because nobody knows,
That I really am lying,
That no one is so strong......
The daily struggle of thousands like me,  who have a tough exterior, and hard walls around themselves to protect the fragile heart from breaking again,
Also to not to show our emotions and stress,
So our friends and family are not burdened....
You've always been in my heart
Where you've stayed since the beginning
You're like a little sister to me
Like the twinkling stars are to the beautiful sky
Like the driftwood is to tiptoe across
Like the romantic couples are to sandy beach strolls
Like the glowing campfires are to cooling nights
Like the soft music is from crashing waves
Like the white seashells are to listening ears
Like the gigantic ships are to the rolling sea
Like the wiggling fish are to the squawking seagulls
Like hungry people are to their picnic lunches
Like the playful families are to the never-ending coast
Like all eyes are to the breath-taking view
Like the smiling faces are to the digital cameras
Like the crying children are to their tearful goodbyes
You're like a little sister to me
We've always been, one way or another, the best of friends,
And we'll forever be, until the end
