David Noonan
You're my fear
Everything that i hold dear
You hang on every word I say
As I pray, you won't grow
To one day, live that way
But to find your own words
Of world's old and new
That take you places
Beyond all that i once knew
Till that day, I'll always say
I'll carry your fear
Like a one true love
That i keep near
So grow my angel child
Take this life as you can
Be it one or be it many
Let it be dreams that you carry
And if you ever misstep
If you stumble or falter
I will always be humbled and proud
To be the one, to call you
Daughter

Jester
And so I slipped into the mirror;
finally after years of staring, I saw the ripple.

I crossed over into fantasy, a paradise, my personal wonderland.
I wonder where I'll land.

And down I go into the unknown,
Red string theories, space and time; time and space.
Running on the endless slipstream
And so I open my eyes and overcome the race.

I opened my eyes and to my surprise I stood before the garden;
I opened my eyes and to my surprise I stood before the Queen.
I opened my eyes and to my surprise; I was falling again.

Free fall into my dream,
Dance with me and by my queen;
This is my reality, grab my hand and walk through the mirror with me.

Gidgette
Being the thing that I am,
borne into this world of man
A waif,
Scent of water lilly on a gypsy's cheek dancing at midnight
A song,
sung by demons under the blood moon in the month of March
A mere reflection,
In a child's tear
With the want for nothing more,
than to evaporate with the coming of the rising Sun
But the sun never rises here
and reflections don't evaporate~A

It's ok.
Have a massive public melt down.
Drink it away,
you'll forget
Are your teeth perfect and white?
Clothes ironed?
Hair done up?
If you've drank too much
or you're beat to ****
have a friggin
Jolly Rancher.
It'll be ok....
Just as long as you smell
like a jolly rancher
Throw glasses at the elderly cook
Bring home men way too young
who know nothing except
Nothing
But make **** sure
You eat that
Jolly Rancher
Haha! Eat a Jolly Rancher! So said my mother. I need a break

Gidgette
I saw the world as it is,
cried my soul away
Wrapped my skin in shadows
a gift, unto the night
Sunset is my dress
The moon holds what remains of my
soul
Falling stars and dew drops
few shimmers gone
unseen
The only silence found,
in the song of falling rain
Sunset colours caress me,
night, my stage
Whispers in the gloaming
from sweet cicadas
And still, I see the world
cry my soul to the moon
This is the first poem I've been able to post on days due to a technical glitch.
Thank you for fixing it Eliot!

A storm of petals
a cheery blossom blooming
hands barely touching
hearts in synchronicity
two strangers falling in love
A tanka
