happy mask

I tried to stop being depress,
and start making friends.
But then…
I build too many walls,
Just to hide my flaws
always fearing they’ll crumble.
And...
In the end I can’t stop my thoughts
when I’m alone, reoccurring questions it sought.
Burdens comes falling,
Rushing like the tide, washing
pushing away
the happy mask
I wore.
I haven't been writing much as of late. Maybe because like the first two lines said. Yes, I did make some friends and bond with them. It's great being able to joke around and laugh here and there... But I know deep down I still built too many walls, they can't see what's there, Perhaps I am too good in wearing this mask, that some people didn't see what's lurking behind it.
Tastes good though lethal.
It doesn't satisfy,
It enslaves
Us,
And letting go isn't
Easy;it takes
Choice and
action,
Courage and deep determination,
In order to
Win the
War
Battle against self is
A tough one,
But victory
Calls.
She's a woman of integrity,
She recognises her beauty,
And her specialty.
Knowing she's not perfect,
She reflects before she can react,
She may not be every mans desire,
But that doesn't matter because its not something to require,
Love and total attention from one is enough,
Lots of times she laughs,
At times she even bluffs,
When life gets rough,
She gets tough,
She's a survivor,
Her familys reviver.
She's a woman,
A woman of integrity.

After twenty years
I see it very clear
I picked the right girl
No others even close
I have the right to boast
She's so right for my world
I made the right choice
Two human hearts rejoice
That she became my fate
I'm glad I took the chance
To ask for that first dance
That we still celebrate

Desire blows in like a warm southern breeze
Waves submerge us into seducing seas
Fill me up with your words
Now paint them on my skin
with your tongue
Teasing me while you glide and savor
Tasting my love of the sweetest of flavor
Touch me with your eyes
Wrap me up with your smile
Crave me with your fingers
Call me your symphony
Make my nerve endings sing
Each bite tinged with pleasurable stings
Soft sighs
Turn into soft cries
Passion heat calling out your name
Passion only will douse the flame
With no fear or no regret
A moment of passion we will never forget

I am an exquisite soul,
child of sheltered creative spirits
In my veins run the colorful blood flowing with rhythm
The air I breathe feels like drips of rain
in alternating rhyme scheme
Stop me from spilling my ink
and I will still bleed with words
upon the sheets of my secluded book

I am a strange hand of nature
creating rainbow in its playground
It is not my duty to paint the sky with hues,
but what I do creates strength of my palm
I bleed with words
I breathe love, hope and faith
You can stop me from breathing my thoughts
by taking out my heart

For I am an exquisite soul
who always bleed with words
upon the sheets of my secluded book.
