Sometimes you get depressed and its hard to admit you need a helping hand.
Sometimes you just need someone to push past your wall and let you know that they're there and that they care and that they understand or at least want to try to.
Because you can't get it all out yourself.
That's what depression is like.
And its **** hard.

10 months later
And people assume that I should be done healing
They forget to ask me how I'm doing
They seem somewhat annoyed when I mention you
And maybe it's because they've never had their hearts broken like this

But I?
I have to start all over everytime a holiday passes and it's the first time I'm not spending it with you
I have to start all over everytime something important happens and I have to remind myself that I can't call you to tell you

Every morning I have to start all over because even my dreams don't know how to let you go

I hold you close
I love you tender
My heart is a fragile bird
These wings break
from time to time
The tide pulls me out to sea
And my eyes pour oceans
Every time you love another

He asked for nothing in return
But he hoped
That she'd turn
And again let their fire burn.

He asked for nothing in return
But he smiled
Hoping she'd notice
And maybe give him a kiss.

He asked for nothing in return
Except for her laugh
Her kiss
Her touch and her lips.

He wanted her badly
His soul suffered painfully.

He wanted her everything
For her, he let his heart burn
But his love's something
He asked for nothing in return.
Dedicating this poem to the ones that fell in love with their bestfriend, and kept their feelings to themselves. Dedicating this poem to myself too :)

Love is a horrible and terrible word
In war and peace do not bind the cord
Volatile and futile strings of golden discord

Dawn of confusion and occasional madness
And some dose of perpetual sickness
Wandering soul and mind in darkness
Never let it take the scales of your blindness.
Day 1: Write a poem where each line starts with a letter from your first name (an Acrostic). It can be about anything, but it should not be about you or your name.

not every touch is there to scar you,

some are there to hold you

and you cannot shield yourself away out of fear that every touch is going to leave you crawling in your own skin from the itching and itching and burning and burning

because then, then you miss out on the really ******* good touches

the touches that ignite a fire inside of you that you hope keeps burning and burning and ******* burning

because it doesn't itch, somehow it soothes. it burns and it soothes and you've never felt anything like it and there are no scars, just a house on fire and every time a window smashes the exhilaration and adrenaline and exhilaration and adrenaline pours out of you and into you all at the same time.

fireworks do not compare to the explosion of endorphins, ramshackled and rummaging through you.

not every touch is there to scar you,

some are there to hold you.

She will touch you with her words,
She will draw the few constellations she knows across your skin,
She will hold your hands while listening to old songs,
She will let you see a part of her you've never seen,
She will make you reach deeper to her mystery,
She will be an atomic explosion inside your chest,
And she will consume you.

Just please,
Drown her with your love,
Because her soul is too strong and potent,
To be half loved..
