Snowing in mountains
Howling wind answers to none
The lost ruins calls

Frozen time collapse
Sleeping child rests before Falls
Mirror lake commands

To see the unseen
Promise of first Autumn Moon
Shall show you the way

But beware, my friend
Inside the Mountain's stomach
Riches of sickness
These haikus are inspired by The Hobbit.
I needed to watch something whimsical to take my mind of...well, my mind.
Head's pounding away with ideas and anxiety as well as my overthinking and paranoia of the worst case scenario of my life.
But I'm still here, and I'm very grateful!
107 followers?! I can't believe it!
Thank you ever so!
Truly! ^-^
Love you always!
Be back soon!

When you face the world by yourself
That path that you take may be unclear
Uncertainties will present themselves
You are dealing with a whimsical nature
Let these challenges build you up
Visualize yourself by taking action
Be fierce as you travel along the line
Get on your feet and make things happen

So you’re on the Main Street, right?
Turn left onto the little alley way
next to the flower shop,
standing prettily with its painted windows and gorgeous displays.

Tucked away behind other shops,
you’ll see it.
With its inviting smell of coffee,
hot chocolate, and cookies,
and the perfectly neat pastry rack by the counter.

Each cupcake is frosted perfectly,
Each muffin baked with love and care;
and strawberries, of course.
Once you experience all of that, you know you’re at the best coffee shop in town.

The curtains are tied back into perfect little bows
To reveal glittering windows with a view to nowhere, but a beautiful view nonetheless.
There are little shops and restaurants, making it amazing for people-watching,
especially for artists that like drawing people!

If reading is more your style,
you’ll find gorgeous bookshelves sitting along the pretty walls.
They’re fully stocked with hundreds of novels, from new to old;
in alphabetical order too.
Sprinkled with dust that makes them even more endearing somehow.

So once you make it to the coffee shop,
Go inside and enjoy the food and drinks, okay?
Stay as long as you want there, they don’t mind customers that hang out even for hours
lost in a borrowed book or painting the summer sky that they saw 5 hours ago,
now painting from memory because of the moon coming up.

And maybe buy some flowers on your way back!
The flower shop is pretty, with its sweet smell and colorful blooms.
Have fun,
and welcome to a town of dreams!

There once was a girl
Who collected all creatures
All with at least one curl
she had screechers
And when passing she would say hi merl
Or hey mr. preachers
But all of them were well
Well fed well mannered and even well.. Pampered
For if they wanted anything they would just ring a bell
They would scamper
Here and scamper there
For every where they may play
As long as they don't touch their hair
Then they may do as wish as long as they obey
It was a sad thing if they did not listen
For example the day casey braided her hair
Oh how her eyes did glisten
With a mischievous flair
When she was caught you could see realization in her eyes
And soon after her hair was bleached and turned green
And tried a many lies.
But the look Gave her away
now i am sure you can find the moral. But if you can’t i will help do not disobey
your elders or they may dye your hair.

I found love with every step I take,
into all these whimsical forests I went.

I found love within each beat,
I heard dancing in my favorite music.

I found love with every cup,
of coffee my mouth sipped.

I found love in paint and brush,
painting sky of beautiful sunsets.

I found love in inked pens,
writing down words I couldn't tell.

I found love in me,
and I will hold onto that.
For when I found love in me.

sometimes
you just need to
run into the
wild and
look at the
starshine and
look at the
moonbeams

and forget
who you are
for a while

forget where
you came from
and where you're
trying to go

forget who is
waiting for you
and what they said
and what they
might say

to melt back
into black
and pulse shiny
and magical

to be
simply a
body under
the sky

No matter how big and bright and sparkling we make our lives, nature still calls to us. To be domed over by an indigo sky spangled with stars can calm even the most turbulent heart. Because nature connects us to the wordless part of ourselves. And no words = no worries.
let the race
go on and
be won and
be lost
inevitable
fast
without me

I will be
playing
on the side
of the road
with the daisies
and the crickets
and the wild-growing
fennel

a fleeting whoosh
to the rushing
passerby
and they a whoosh
to me

as clouds
hang humid
and yearn to
speckle their
summer mist
a-top puffs of
breeze and
rosy cheeks
and
saplings

I will be
spending my
sunshine day
with face
upturned and
hair a-mess
and
eyes not
looking where
they're going

You can choose to race toward a predetermined end alongside a slew of equally eager competitors. And end up exactly where you decided to be, with a number fixed to your shirt and if you're lucky, a medal hung round your neck.

Or you can choose to wander off the track completely and see where it takes you. It might be dangerous. It might be lonely. It might be peculiar.

There are racers and there are gallumphers, I suppose.

A hitch in the breath,
Static flickers into the dim-
My eyes turning blind,
I search for an answer within.

Waning poetic
Under the waxing moon’s light of shining,
I dig into my skull
To pull out a sentiment once again.

Surely, a sign of stopping-
Heartbeat elevates, blood rising;
Mind in hyper-mode,
Ready to explode.

I’m neither drunk nor sober,
A state in between,
Whirling and racing
My thoughts
never
over.

Magic breadcrumbs
Twinkle like stars
Giggling while hiding
Tender memoirs

Voodoo whispers
Finespun intention
Vibrating and swaying until
Magic has snuck in

Enticing while Splicing
Singing me along
Via my senses
To where I belong

Daring to be found
Anticipating you
Suspended exhalation
Timeless rendezvous
