Drowning
Even before the floodgates
Break
Pulled to the bottom
By an infinite weight
I'll never be able to lift it
All I can do
All any of us can do
Is wait

Because someday
These clouds will fade
The sky will clear
I'll feel the sun on my face
And it will be more
Than worth the wait

I'll hold my breath
Until the end of time
If it means that I
Will witness the stars
I'll fall apart
A thousands times
Just so I
Can someday be whole
And I will be
We will be
Just wait

Because someday
When the sun comes through
And the light breaks our bodies
We will rise
We will soar
Higher than birds
Seeing it all
For the first time
We'll finally fly

All it takes
Is the will to survive
And we will
Just wait
Yeah, this *****. God, it *****. It hurts so much and all we can do is wait and wait and wait. But we'll do it. We are going to survive and thrive and get out of this town and learn what it means to truly live life.

No worries about betrayal,
She is so much spiritual,
We are equally loyal.

For now all is very well,
'Coz we decided our fixture,
Needful is the social approval.

nobody knows
the troubles
you've seen

nobody knows them all,
maybe some here/there,
scattered pebbles, strung together in a too tight choker,
as if two hands grasping your  gasping neck,
as if you needed a reminder
of your own hands in slow mo,
cutting off of the oxygen supply,
to merest trickle,
the insufficient
be well

hell
no one knows the precision past,  decision nature
of thine owned Sisyphus boulder,
the one you alone shoulder

so you grin~grimace inside,
when they sincere, but casually bell,
un-beknowning, un-thinking
wishing you one mo' time,
an extra seasonal

be well
~
ah, well intentioned,
but you're getting older,
tireder from the loader,
each time it's tossed your way,
falling to the pitted bowls bottom
all these
be well wishes

it's like a glass of water trying to
fill a well mostly dry,
quench a bonfire of exhaustion,
that only grows stronger,
feeding on its own inexhaustible supply
of good wishes innocently poisoning

I have
two* sons.

I hope they

be well

I talk to myself

So I can think to myself,
And so I think to myself,

What a horrible world.

'But why does it seem so pretty?'

Because beauty is the best disguise
For something so ugly inside.

The horrors of this world are a well-kept secret.
They are, aren't they?
It's the horror within the beauty can harm us the most.
Even more than just the horror alone.

Wandering soul, keep searching,

roaming this desert in peaceful pace.

A year without rain, a well you find;

hollowness it is, too deep

and all dispersed.

Fall in, unyielding devil;

veiled in the darkness,

no souls, only echoes,

aching thirst, numb fingertips

and beams of hope.

Close your eyes, dark angel,

float down a water dreamscape;

your yearning heart is speechless,

in memories, it believes

in a well flowing with tears.

Dive deeper, weeping well;

all is concealed but a thank you,

transcend into a sapphire ocean.

In this flowing freedom, you live!

for a dear face, for a new promise.

And then I saw it
And I knew
Overtaken as I was
That all of my prior perceptions of beauty were nothing
And that your memory
Was a far sight from all of God's green glory
Creative and free as the cattails and the rustic leaves
For which I am thankful
Most thankful
Struck silent by the sight. Happy that such a truth exists. Exquisite.
