If a picture buys
Something like a thousand words,
Which of us is robbed
If I should, as a kindness,
Paint with so few syllables?

Emotion is not us,
You said frustratedly, but I,
As I was to die,
You wanted to save my shell,
The human part of you was why

I saw you across
The room, not turning to me.
To meet my dark eyes,
And whisper to me softly,
What all those lines tried to hide.

I thought I knew you,
But I guess not anymore.
I knew the old you.
You thought you knew me too, right?

scent of relief after rain
sunset burned like sighs

lads water her mind
"You look so gorgeous today"
but she's done with scripts
she tests those eyes if they stay
when trivial beauty is stripped
Wind stings and nips at
My cheek, but it’s nothing like
Your seasoned kisses.
Kisses that I am lacking
From your sly lips: bitter-sweet.
Bitter-sweet is bitter because of the cunning and manipulative lips, and is sweet because, indeed, my ‘lover’s’ kisses were magical—entrancing!

Lazy as a sloth
Muddy, playful paws in shade
Throwing in tantrums
Playing hide and seek daily
My amazing little child

Things I'll never know,
And the things I will regret,
Swarm in my headspace,
A mass of mess and clutter.
Please don't throw your life away.
