Come back to me with all your heart
Don't let fear keep us apart
Turn from your sin and cling to the Lord
Be wholly changed by this Love outpoured
The world is screaming for our attention
While He patiently waits for our affection
In this dry and barren land
Our hearts learn to understand
How to walk with the Lord and hear His voice
And, back in His arms, we will rejoice
For in the desert there is suffering and pain
And we cry out for a single drop of rain
But there is a focus and a silence
With a beauty all its own
And in the midst of hatred and violence
We know we are never alone
You have moved my heart in ways I can't contain
The words are filled with healing and pain
You have pierced me Oh Lord with your unfailing love
And I am powerless to resist this precious holy flood
Your music stirs my soul to sing to you
King of my life and all that is good and true
In these forty days help me focus now
Help me hear you in the silence somehow
In this time of trial and testing
Be at peace my soul for, in God's merciful heart, you are resting
We walk in the light with darkness around us
We are free because God's grace has found us
Today, right now, my soul has been stirred
For we live not by bread, but by God's word

Because the light and shade
of fedora’s peepholes
shines hot
like a golden mosque;
How being caught up by something
so up close
stirs fullness
and feels of attention
Al menos algo fructífero sale de la canícula, por debajo de la fedora y sombra

Brazen stirred emotions from the mountain top
Released undeterred to flow downhill
From the meadows through thick forest to solid oak
Followed raw heated rage to a path of implicit destruction
Pleasant land starts to rumble
Quiver and stumble
A river once dry comes alive.

If i was to admit what has been stirred
I know on my life, I would only be cursed
Somethings are better kept unsaid...

Upon the wings of doves it was pure
Their purest white Feathers
Glided,
Floated,
Nestled
Its clearness, Its symbolic touch
Upon my yet to be woken heart,
For this beauty showed what was
In front of my eyes,
Feathers did come down like snow
Not only touching mine,
Awoken,
Revived,
Vitality
Sprung forth, emotions were flowering
Everywhere,
My heart was touched
By a feather of purest love,
That is when our eyes meet, I saw a feather
Caress your loneliness and we
Were transformed from
Solitude,
Seclusion,
Sorrow
To hearts that were now awoken,
The true feeling stirred from inside,
To love at first sight,
We were like the feathers
Our hearts had taken flight,
We were in love as white feathers fell,
The symbol of love had opened our hearts
To what was always Within our now *flourishing hearts.
The World is not enough for me, seeing that
my enrollment is inscribed on Heaven’s scroll;
my assignments are ongoing and I know that…
I’m secure with regard to the future of my soul.

I may not enjoy the exploits of James Bond,
but my faith’s exhilaration does not compare
in the traditional sense of the World’s view,
since the Presence of Jehovah is everywhere.

Empowered by His Spirit to take divine action,
defeat of evil principalities that surround
will eventually occur by the might of The Lord,
as I’m standing on The Word’s Biblical ground.

Though I’ll never fear the unknown I may face,
I’m thoroughly equipped and trained for battle.
The weapons of my warfare are spiritually based;
firmly I stand in “the gap” without being rattled.

Certainly I’m not jealous of the secret agent,
for I already possess the mystery to happiness:
the joy of The Lord is my source of contentment.
The strength of my faith is eternally relentless

and I’m loving this blessed existence each day.
My spirit is perpetually stirred, but not shaken!
Living victoriously remains as my mission statement
until the my life’s final day, when I’m taken… home.
