Sometimes
It's okay for something to break apart
To open a path for something new
Something unfamiliar
But
Better than that of what you once knew

Eldredge
A simple knot

It was all I had
My only souvenir

From my travels

I had only worn it on special occasion
And thus

All events of significance
Wrapped up in a few turns

Of a piece of cloth

Eldredge
A simple knot

Maybe the life
I thought I’d live

Was snagged on another loop of thread
And wrapped up forever

Or
Maybe

All that’s needed
Is to tie another

I wish
we lived
closer to
each other,

because,
we both
could use
a hug
right now.

If there's one thing
I want to share
from an experience
I'm afraid to tell
that is to,
Don't mend your heart,
by falling into
another heart.
For you'll just
end up
being a
devastated one.
Your love
for her
will not be
enough,
for you still try
to love
yourself.
Everything will
be a mayhem,
and she will just
end crying.
So if  you want
to spare
yourself
from this stress,
this is a
head start
for you my friend.
Trust me,
I've been there,
and
I've done that,
and
its
the worst,
that
I
got.*

Don't fall so you can move on. Let your heart heal first before you love again.

If you are nervous doing it,
your legs go out of control when you start,
that's when you know
you're doing something
close to your heart!

Wake up,
Thursday morning,
smell of wet asphalt creeps in through the crack in the window left open
get up,
breathe it in and listen to the chickadees sing for this type of weather

Drink up,
warm water with lemon,
detox yesterday's sins
and begin new today
peel the wrappers from your arm from falling asleep eating
too many candies,
go for a run, cook a colorful lunch
fill your body with something other than crap for once.
the sun does not rise for you to waste the day in bed,
remember how it feels to do what you love and feel calm at night when you finally fall to bed, not shaking, but somber.

today is yours,
do not let it slip away,
god knows you have the strength to take it,
so do as the birds do,
just be,
fly,
sing,
breathe.
it may be too late to go back and renew,
but t'will ne'er be too late to start anew,
lustful for new horizons, unsubdued!

Waiting here on this earth,
For what?
My life to start?
My debt from childhood to diminish?
My act is not together!
I know you say, I'll get there.
But let me tell you,
It never starts until you;
Realize that debt,
Money,
Work,
All of this doesn't matter!

In the long run how are you going to die?
With money and satisfaction of greed?
With no experience,
But the only knowledge of;
At least I didn't risk my life so I could get here...

Risk is life,
Never stop risking,
Never stop running from society,
Because once you do,
Your life has ended...
