It's gonna stay between us
So let's be honest
Do you regret giving up on us?
Or you think it was for the best?

You say, it doesn't matter now
But my side of story is left unseen
Although it can't be same as before
But again, it is not what it could have been

If not best, dear! you and me
Could have been friends
With no scene of break up
A story that never ends

What happened exactly
I can't put a finger on
But I was... I am... I'll be sorry forever
This fact needs to be known

They say, it's broken
Girl! Please move on
Our love has just faded;
Not completely gone

One day I'll set things straight
The ball is in your court, crossing the crease
If you can't take a step forward, don't back off
In no time, I'll built us back piece by piece.
For you INDI

With my words I weave a scene,
A flawless world that seems pristine.
Verdant trees and babbling brooks,
Lands from ancient story books.
It is in these worlds that I long to be,
Basking in blissful serenity.
Walls of paper blockade my way,
The ink-stained partitions seem to stay.
I wield my pen, my trusty blade,
As I carve a legacy page by page.
These places that I often scribe,
Evade me quite; I cannot lie.
Yet perhaps for a moment I may just pretend,
And weave my scenes until the end.
You can can create whimsical scenes with just ink and paper, but isn't it just a scrawl of black and white?

I dread your absence
And the loneliness it will bring.

Your exhausted heart longs
for the pillow
of my beating one
As much as
your weary head
yearns to rest
there too

But do not cry,
my love
That we are apart
in this world.
What is separation
for a single soul?

We are two aspects
of a single breath
Think of
how deeply we are exhaling
Oh,
  what a relief it is
to have found you!
though you were in me all along

We are not apart
No, not really
For we cannot be parted
How does one sever an ocean
Or an eternal flame?
You are not my life
But we are life itself
Together

And look how much we are living it.

Life is a veil
And we are the riders
Carrying opposite corners
to vast expanses
Spreading it over the world
and coloring gardens beneath
in the deep scarlet
of our undying hearts

Do not cry, my love.

We are a compound
that cannot be split.
    We were always
    one element
    anyway.

First I was a drop in your dead sea.
Next, a wave in your hurricane.
Then I was the rocks you raged against.
Now I am the clouds;
feeding you still,
but out of reach of your drowning embrace.

You used too love me.
I was enthralled with your body.
I wanted you more than life.
But when I got you, you used me.
Once you left me, you ignored me.
I thought we could do this long distance thing.
I actually thought we could be together for years.
You wished me the best,
But I'm left in tears.

But with him,
I can be the woman I wish I were,
the lover I doubt I could ever be
and the writer I wish I could take a pill to become
so after him,
after this romance,
    after he's gone,
        what do I become?
