Violet to your ears
I slowly watch my heart pierce
itself to your skin
engraved into your passions
each word,
each action,
each thought within
every hand motion,
every verb.
Your daily stance
I've seen myself inside of your hands
& I felt so home
So comfortable.
The though of me never being alone
was merely touchable
it
made my temple sing the blues
a saxophone blowing in you
Ricocheting my melody
It's violet to my ears
rose water
his love fell on me

*now his garden is all I want to hear

There are those who worship
At the altar of the ear
Who when they hear a certain note
Will shed a tear.

Some worship
Pastoral scenes
Seeing lakes and trees
They slip into a dream.

The church of haute cuisine for some
Is where they go
Every day
To kneel and pray

There are those whose smell sensation
Equates to olfactorial
Adulation
And infatuation

Some hedonists wouldn’t mind
Being blind
Tactile delights forever
Would suit them fine

Though my five senses
Work quite well
I find myself mainly interested
In my mind.

why do i still hear
poetry in every word you speak
and see
stars hidden in your eyes
as heavenly as ever
why is the taste
of your lips
something i haven’t
forgotten
how come the scent
of your cologne still
stains my sweaters
how is it that the
spark
of your touch
is something i
i can’t seem to
forget
when will i come to my
senses?

The tick tock clock of time begins to turn;
as you roll over the sun sends wisps of light over the horizon.
Your mind softens and stretches out,
reaching through your nerves, filling your body.

The sun now peaking over the horizon,
the light growing stronger begins to stir the world awake.
The early morning glow flows in, filling you with warmth
A radiance of mind
and body.

Feels like I’m living in a nightmare
Slowly drifting off to no-where
Living in this world but no-one seems to care.
It’s all so Scarey!
So I’ll pull on my hair so I can be free
I can’t wake up though cause I’m rooted down like a tree.
I can’t open my eyes
I don’t even know why I try
I fell water forming in my eyes as I begin to cry.
I need to talk to somebody but I’m to shy
So I’ll retract into my mind and ask myself why?
Why am I so scared of this world?
Probably because everything is soiled.
Feels like I’m living in a nightmare
Slowly drifting off to no-where
Living in this world but no one seems to care.
It’s all so scarey!
Now I’m afraid of the dark
I jump when dogs bark
I’m even scared to go to the park
Swimming? Forget that, there might be a shark.
Everything just leaves me with another mark.
I try to think of ways out but nothing seems to spark.
It always starts good but then everything just falls apart.
Story of my life man
I got scared so I ran.
Feels like I’m living in a nightmare
Slowly drifting off to no-where
Living in this world but no one seems to care.
It’s all so scarey!
I’m so tired but I’m afraid to fall asleep
Cause every time I close my  eyes something tries to hurt me.
I’m surprised they even try
Cause for sure they want a prize
But they aren’t going to get anything though cause
I’m finally waking up
I’m not whimpering like a pup
As I quit my pout…ing
I no longer need to shout.
That’s what I want to happen but it won’t.
Feels like I’m living in a nightmare
Slowly drifting off to no-where
Living in this world but no-one seems to care.
It’s all so Scarey!
Everyday is just more wear and tear.
I live my life in fear
I can’t even spare a tear.
Feels like I’m living in a nightmare
Slowly drifting off to no-where
Living in this world but no-one seems to care.
I’m so scared.
The whole world is just so scarey
I need a magic fairy
To make it through my days of nightmares.
I’m living in a nightmare
Slowly drifting off to no-where
But not one seems to care.
So I’ll disappear.
Feels like I’m living in a nightmare
I live in a nightmare
All I see is nightmares
Nightmares
All I hear is nightmares
Nightmares
All I feel is nightmares
Nightmares
Night                                  mares
Possibly a song but I don’t know, tell me if you think it would make a good song please and thank you.

I could not tell you of where, when or how
Or why or whence or with whom
It began.
All I can speak of is what I perceive
My neurons oblivious of floor plan.

Gray matter confabulates my wisdom,
Muddles synaptic impulse.
Confused nerves,
Travel unsheathed in an unpatterned grid
Relay scrambled message with undue verve.

Concerto fifth, notes ripple through the air
I hear not this music rich
But I see
Colours of infinite depth ebb and flow
Sounds live in my eyes, lines swirl and flurry.

Waning sun kissing the horizon deep
I see not this beauty pure
But I smell
Warm scent of sweet cinnamon and jasmine
Pictures translated to redolent swell.

Olfactory bliss of soft infant kiss
I smell not this fragrance warm
But I feel
Velvet satin touch caressing my skin
Scents flow as mercury on fingers sealed.

Hypnotic pressure of pebbles underfoot
I feel not this kneading joy
But I taste
Caramelised coat cut by bold sour storm
Tactility morphs into scrumptious paste.

Palate aglow under five course repast
I taste not this saucy feast
But I hear
Melodious blend of pitch and cadence
Flavour unwrapped in acoustics of my ear.

My topsy-turvy world
Created
By my poor flummoxed nerves.
Never a listless moment
Dished up by
Crossing neurons as they swerve.
Prompt: nerves/neurons

I saw children,
Teachers,
And friends.
I heard thunder,
Pelting rain.
I felt tingling,
Hairs stand up.
I smelt bad breath,
Perfume and more.
I tasted sweets,
Burgers and more.
The five senses.

You say I should only have eyes for you but everywhere I look, you're all I see

Everything is so mundane unless I can relate it to you
Feelings erupt out of the ground when I hear your songs, I see your smile
And even in the ones I say I love, I hope you're hearing me say it just for you

The world spins around everybody, and we are only able to truly understand being selfish from one standpoint
But to experience it with another person is to have a partner in crime, to truly love

And when I  feel, I feel us together
And I hope you do too

everything smells better
everything looks better
everything tastes better
sounds better
feels better
i feel better
i get so, so sad
in the winter
but in the spring
i am born again
my senses come back to life
i only wish
i weren't mind-sick
this spring
but
it will be okay

it's always okay.
my birthday is in 3 days, wow.
