1.
I successfully survived the accident,
Thanks to my good Karma in this life
Not in a previous one.

2.
In '09-10, I volunteered for the society,
Educating underprivileged kids and
Their parents too.

3.
Now I'm a successful professional,
Thanks to equitable opportunities
Available in Bháràŧà.

4.
I may have lost my golden years,
But I am in no way literally lost
In the competition.

5.
That accident triggered a cascade,
A chain of unfavourable events
In my family.

6.
My mother lost her knee caps,
Due to her efforts to bring me back
And long standing hours for that.

7.
My father broke his acetabulum,
When trying to save me from falling
While he retrained me.

8.
But I'm thankful to Bhàgàwán,
That both of them are alive
And I'm finally successful.

9.
I don't resent my destiny,
For costing me more than
A complete decade.

10.
My ordeal began on May 7, 2010,
When I landed inside the hospital
On my potential deathbed.

11.
But I knew that I must survive,
For my sentence is not yet over
Here on this planet.

12.
My spirit didn't depart that day,
Although I lost years & friends
Due to the accident.

13.
I didn't fall from Grace of the Lord,
Instead I was sent back with a mission
Amidst the humans.

14.
To teach the lesson of love,
Not through conversion
Or bloodshed.

15.
But through the words of wisdom,
Consideration, love, truth
And experience.

16.
Through these poems of decency,
Rhyme, structure, rhythm
And magic.

17.
The magic is love,
The structure is evident
And the rhythm is so divine.

18.
My parents smiling is my success,
The golden sheen of future
Is my redemption.

19.
In the end,
I speak to you, O Gauri,
You do realise that you're my future.

20.
To you I have promised,
The intensity and the
Love you deserve.

21.
Not short of words ever,
Not because of vocabulary
But because of my passion.

22.
The passion for my life,
The passion for my love
And my love is you.

23.
Never forget what you want,
I'm solely yours, darling,
Yes, you want me.

I scrub away charcoal lifeforms
Rooted into undead surfaces
Which festered while I was away.
I feel sweat bead on my dewey skin
From redemptive exertion
In sterile chemical air
My home is not surrendered
To fungal colonies of neglect.

Red...
The snore of a ghost...?
Has seen a party, with music fed
A prayer; a sincerity lost?

Catching a breeze
Catching a star
Chances predict, a certain heathen
With marveling eyes, staring at far

Away
Motion of a decision
Saving might from may
A sorrow has spent a stare's lesson

Purpose beyond
Stifling a wish, that gave...
No man a soul, for psyche and longing?
Are we to dance, alone or might we take...

The time to ask
Cause curious, enough to face...
The music, for its compassion of facts?
Seeing a cacophony, I know you, for dread's race...
Lets party like it's nighty-night, benign?

"Not guilty! God threw away my sins into the sea. Christ became a curse for me when He hung on a tree," declared a sinner turned saint.

"Free at last, I'm no longer bound by the past. I'm a new creation man, thrilled to follow God's plan," exclaimed a freed soul.

"I'm complete, God's love is so sweet. He fixed what was broken, and promised I won't be forsaken," sang a healed heart.

"So blessed, my soul is at rest. In Christ, I have victory over the works of the enemy," shouted a champion.

God gave them His kiss of redemption, and they experienced true liberation.

Come to His table, your life will turn around. He is willing and able, for His grace abounds.
"The Kingdom of God is near! Repent of your sins and believe the Good News!" (Mark 1:15)

The light of the Gospel shone
In her heart so broken and torn
Where sin was king enthroned
God made His only Son known
Divine being on earth was born
Became human, an object of scorn
Suffered and died on the cross forlorn
But death and grave were overthrown
In resurrection, Spirit power was shown
Her sins atoned, He calls her His own
The greatest act of love she's ever known
When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners. Now, most people would not be willing to die for an upright person, though someone might perhaps be willing to die for a person who is especially good. But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. (Romans 5:6-8)

In the palms of Time,
She hears the thumping of her longing heart.
She, who loves to knit her own white dress
And her well-braided hair with dewy flowers
Became her crowning glory.

She waits with her head lifted to the Sky,
She waits knowing that He remembers her name.
And every single day, she writes her own story
And these stories are not all good
But these pages built her soul —
Found and nurtured by her Lover’s deep affection.

The Sun has left the curtains in the skies —
And her Groom kept His promise to her…
He returned… Oh yes, the Groom has come!
He has finally come!

And He wiped her tears before it fall
For the bride was meant to live
more than a lifetime
And to spend eternity with her Lover
Who gave her vows…
Her Covenant Maker, her Promise Keeper!

They will dance in the courts of Heaven
Where darkness cannot enter
And where death has no power.

The most awaited feast indeed
Was granted before their eyes
All the witnesses will enter
The rest they all have been longing for.

The bride was dancing
With so much praise in her lips.
She shouted and leaped for joy!
And it was overflowing!

And that’s the last dance she’s been waiting for
The only dance her soul searched for years.
She loved Him that’s why she waited
But He loved her first —
Her waiting was worth it!

When things improve, I stumble and fall,
Self-sabotage whispers, questioning it all.
A perpetual cycle, back and forth I go,
Please, release me from this remorseful woe.

My anxious heart given a chance to soar,
Freed from shackles, yet I was careless.
In my own undoing, I tarnished the key,
Locked away the possibility of you and me.

You embraced this fool who turned from the world,
Your soothing presence and your words, warmth swirled.
Echoes in my chest, what was once lost, unchained,
Emotions surge - a tide - each part regained.

I won't revert to the person of old,
No more shivering, no more words left untold.
The reflection in the mirror, standing strong,
I'll rectify missteps, admit I did you wrong.

This time! Just this time please! Let redemption be my rhyme!

I had a near miss
The other day,
Or at least it certainly
Felt like one

Felt the mortal coil
Slip a bit lower,
Fall a little looser
About my frame,

And although I was
Distraught at not being
Able to see my kids
Nor to set all records straight

At least I'd turned a corner
Into truth and love,
And as I closed my eyes
A final time I knew

I'd told my final Lie,
Knew I'd chosen
Truth and love
Before my final breath
your eclipse Oct 2023
do you think life will ever
give us a chance
or rather
the privilege:
to redeem ourselves,
to forgive our wounds,
to walk toward happiness?
