It took a billion light-years
For me to reach you
But only to find
The faint glow of your past

How would I ever reach you
If we are moving at the same time
As I chased your light
Only to be left behind

But maybe I need to let go
In order to find that glow
And stop wishing
For you

Maybe I can wait here
For billions of more years
To look at your light
And just be bright

It might take forever
Until the world is over
Yet this undying fire
Can’t seemed to burn out

Like a star, I waited
In the void spinning
Shining my light bright
Hoping that
you will one day reach me

I am not an angry woman
Though you try to make me so
I’m scrupulous. And sentient
And more than you’ll ever know.

I realise now, I don’t know you either
Not your song, only what you show
I don’t know your passions or your vices
Or what thoughts, through you, flow.

Thus, in that living equinox,
On that line in the sand,
Between all of me and all of you
We make our momentary stand.
You can have me as I choose
I won’t be carved by your hand.

So, look not, oh stranger, for my rage
For such a thing is but infernal
Instead, find in me an endless love
For I am Olga and I am, Eternal.
I wrote this for a friend. :)

We are all jigsaw puzzles,
wanting to fit and to belong,
so if I rearrange the pieces
of my still broken heart,
please be patient with me.
If I have to coerce my heart
into the right place in mind,
please be patient with me.
If I have to rearrange
a real, proper smile for you,
please be patient with me.
(And if I have to turn my head
to properly kiss you,
please be patient with me
).
I think I should learn how
to hold back sometimes

Maybe you took the wrong lanes
Perhaps you're stuck in traffic
Or probably got lost on the way
But in time, the roads will lead you to me
& I'll make sure to meet you halfway
for now i'll be waiting

Gold dusted words
Coming from his loud mouth,
Hate packaged in words like freedom.
Or the protection of it.

Followers breathing these words,
Truth or not
this is about something more.
About who they are.

I do get it tho,
I'm not fighting to feed my kids,
I'm not scared of any change,
Haven't been fed racism with mother's milk.

We should smother them,
our so called political enemies.
Be patient and teach,
it's our only way to progress.Gold dusted words
Coming from his loud mouth,
Hate packaged in words like freedom.
Or the protection of it.

When I tell you I love you
I'm not reciting another poem
It's an invitation
A call for attention
Baby!

May your love rearrange me if it can
May it heal,
Attend to the bruises and scars the past lover left

May your love make it rain
Drops of warmth,
Clouds of assurance,
Winds of comfort,

May your love run so deep,
Fast enough to catch every piece of this broken heart
May it listen on days I can not utter a word

When I tell you I love you
I'm not trying to sound like Maya
Oh lover!

May your love be a medley
Let it be too music
To compose all the pain, betrayals and hurt into a beautiful song
A melody that can teach me to love myself as I love you

My love is a journey less walked
Too ***** and full of gravel
Be patient with me
I'm still learning to travel
This narrow path
Called love
" where do broken hearts go," can they learn to love again?

Poetry starts like rain .
With one drop
It hits your body
You can feel it in your bones and muscles
And you have little time to prepare
But you know a storm is coming...
You can rush to get ahead of it
...You could try and block it altogether
But why not just take your time with it?
You could just see it through to the end.

I go to sleep when the sun is just about to rise,
I wait up for him,
God;
I just want to say “hi”.
See you at sunrise...
