Happy New Year?
Well for now, I can’t say.
I have my own hopes
but there could be delay.
I’ve ordered World Peace
there could be a speed bump.
I’ve also requested the demise of Trump.
And the continued success of all bee colonies
and protection from racists and their bigotries.
And more empathy amongst all of mankind
And for those who are seeking? I hope they shall find!
At the end of the year I shall rinse and repeat and hope to find some on my wishlist complete.

It's a new year,
So new beginnings.
I'm still here,
But things will be different.

In with the new,
Out with the old.
My only resolution:
Stay warm when cold.

Who knows?
Maybe this year'll be fun?
Happy new year,
To everyone!
Happy New Year! Things don't feel different, but I'm gonna make sure they will be. Enjoy your year!
Also, I have a question. See if you can answer it. What did I mean when I said: Stay warm when cold???

I bury this year's stillborn dreams
in the soil of despair, before the
new year begins with colorful
explosions embroidered in the sky.

Place where dark meets bright
ideas makes up a creator
silence converts to inner voice
Strangers become friends
is the place where happiness meets love.

Place where guards of almighty
present to provide turtledove
for life, to protect our feelings
from the dirt of hatred and sadness
is the place where happiness meets love.
Happy New Year!

The mirror-ball drops
and the Gregorian calendar
turns another final page,
like a memory that preceded us
... time just slipping away
leaving beheld moments behind
    in the smeared traces
           of yesterday

"why fight what's carved in stone?"
                             ... said a voice
felt in an ether whisper –

a voice hoarse with unspoken words
trying to attach a meaning
to the bellowing  silence heard
strewn across pallid blank pages

"there's a sliver of the moon
        above our heads"

  and visions of grandeur
bathed in a faint moonlit glow
      dappled with hope

My cruel time, you inspire me to write.
I love the way you flow, run and stagnate,
Invading my mind day and through the night,
Always dreaming about the surrogate.

Let me compare you to a contender?
You are more stoic and more immortal.
Cool frost nips the robins of December,
And wintertime has the righteous cortile.

How do I love you? Let me count the ways.
I love your mortal event, length and age.
Thinking of your portal length fills my days.
My love for you is the temporal page.

Now I must away with a gentle heart,
Remember my dual words whilst we're apart.

I can be fire
Let me ignite

But I can be cold
Blown out in an instant

But today I’ll stand strong
Fight through the wind

I will ignite again
My flame will burn bright

I will be fire
An unstoppable force
A new year equals a new me! Today will be the start of me becoming stronger and pushing past my problems. I will be fire and I will be new
